Position Overview: As a Business Analyst you will play a pivotal role in analyzing business processes and implementing solutions to drive operational excellence. Leveraging your expertise in Amazon Web Services, Jira, and MS Office, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, enhance decision-making, and maximize performance across various departments.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements within the hospitality industry.
Utilize Jira for project tracking, creating user stories, and managing project backlogs.
Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards using MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Work closely with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications for system enhancements or new implementations.
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather requirements, validate solutions, and drive alignment across teams.
Continuously monitor and evaluate performance metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives and identify opportunities for optimization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the hospitality industry or a related field.
Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) for data extraction, analysis, and visualization.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, with hands-on experience using Jira for project tracking and creating user stories.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for data analysis, reporting, and presentation.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in AWS or Jira.
Familiarity with hospitality industry-specific software and systems.
