🌍🚀 Huge congratulations to UNDO and Canadian Wollastonite on their groundbreaking partnership in Kingston, Ontario, helping to lead the charge in climate tech! 🌱 Together, they’re leveraging cutting-edge carbon removal technology, using wollastonite to not only capture CO2 but also improve soil health and support local farmers. With a goal of removing 1 million tonnes of carbon by 2025, this innovative venture is a game-changer for the environment and agriculture alike. 🙌 This partnership not only puts Kingston on the map for climate solutions but also highlights the power of collaboration between local businesses, international firms, and educational institutions. 🌾📊 The #Ottawa Smart Farm at Area X.O has been collaborating with Canadian Wollastonite in preparation for an infield experiment next season and will be including their product in our ongoing N2O research. We aspire to adding the National Capital region to Canadian Wollastonite’s Carbon Partnership. Here’s to a brighter, more sustainable future! 🌟 #ClimateTech #CarbonRemoval #Sustainability #Undo #CanadianWollastonite #GreenTech #CarbonCapture #WhyOttawa Sadiyah Manidhar Susanne Cork

....“Building a company like this and commercializing it and growing it in Canada as a Canadian has been really important to me"..... This past month we had the chance to speak with Dave Sali from the Ottawa Business Journal about how Real Life Robotics is thinking globally but acting locally as a #Canadian tech company but just in case you missed it.... 🤝 Meet BUBS. Our Made-In-Ottawa, four-wheeled electric-powered, and autonomous last-mile delivery robot was 3D printed at Cours Bayview Yards and rigorously tested at the cutting-edge smart mobility campus Area X.O. 👓 See BUBS. This robot currently lives at the #Toronto Zoo as part of the Zoober delivery pilot program. The robot will assist their care team in reducing carbon emissions, improving the quality of animal care, enhancing efficiency and productivity, and demonstrating how the Toronto Zoo is embracing sustainable technologies to establish itself as a globally leading conservation campus. 🦾 Engage with BUBS Our team is currently pursuing partnerships with several Canadian communities in the GTA area including the City of Markham, the City of Kitchener, and the City of Waterloo test the “smart city” applications of our hardware and software. 💡.....the City of Ottawa / Ville d’Ottawa is not yet working with us but our local connections run deep and we'd love to do a demo for the Kanata North Business Association & uOttawa | Kanata North cc Jenna Sudds Guy Levesque 💪 Support BUBS. None of this would be possible without the support, trust, and confidence of our angel investors including Joe Dales, Brian Cram, Brian Foster, Nevin McDougall at RHA Ventures Inc.; federal government-backed funding via Dana McCauley and her team at the Canadian Food Innovation Network; our clients Jamie Austin, Dolf DeJong (he/him), and their team at the Toronto Zoo; and last but not certainly not least Philip Reece and his team at InDro Robotics 📢 ...we are currently raising our next round and have room on that list for a few more go-for-gold-minded Canadian investors + interested in learning more about what Cameron Waite, Brandon DeHart and I have up our sleeves please do not hesitate to reach out. Thank Michael Curran and the rest of the OBJ team for continually supporting and telling the story of # Ottawa-based entrepreneurs wherever they might be in the wacky world of technology. 🍁🙏🍁🙏🍁🙏🍁🙏 full story https://lnkd.in/gJbKKMyD

Driving the Safe Commercialization and Future Adoption of Homegrown Smart Mobility Technologies: https://bit.ly/4gzfypY It was an honour for Area X.O to co-host #GCXpo with Transport Canada, ISED, DND, AAFC and a host of partners on Sept. 26 at our private R&D complex. The only Canadian smart mobility demonstration day of its kind, GCXpo celebrated companies driving the smart mobility revolution in Canada's Capital and across the country. These innovators are developing and commercializing multidisciplinary solutions to grand challenges and market opportunities in diverse sectors. These firms didn't simply showcase their technologies. They pitched potential customers, investors, employees and partners. They explored deals and market opportunities. And they demonstrated that our country punches far above its weight in smart mobility. These leaders are taking on the world. And they are doing it as part of a thriving, collaborative national ecosystem.
