A busy #AIPPIWorldCongress Cafe Session was hosted by the AIPPI Standing Committee on PCT. They enjoyed a lively discussion on Lack of Unity and International Search Report (ISR) and they were honoured to be joined by members from World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO.

Nothing better than coming together to discuss where and how IP practitioners can play a part in addressing Climate Change and promoting Sustainability. The AIPPI Standing Committee on IP and Sustainability, together with ASIPI (Asociación Interamericana de la Propiedad Intelectual) kicked this off with a webinar series during 2024. The first three webinars discussed important topics such as “Green Companies and IP - New Challenges”, “Trends in IP Protection of Green Technologies” and “The Positive Impact of Innovation on Climate Change”. What a big group! It was great to catch up with the AIPPI Design committee members during the 2024 AIPPI World Congress in Hangzhou. We just finished ExCo III after the General Assembly & ExCo II earlier this morning. In the General Assembly & ExCo II, the attendees of the 2024 AIPPI World Congress voted on the amendments of the AIPPI Statutes and Regulations and had a preview of what's coming in 2025. During our final session at the Congress, the Executive Committee III meeting, we had the opportunity to vote on the AIPPI Resolutions. The collaboration and dedication of our members and Study Question Committees have resulted in final Resolutions that will have a significant impact on the IP landscape.   #AIPPIWorldCongress #IntellectualProperty #ExecutiveCommittee #GeneralAssembly #InnovateWithAIPPI💡
