🚀 One of the largest CEE banks, Bank Pekao S.A., chooses Aleph Zero to tokenize historical art 🎨 Bank Pekao S.A., Poland’s 2nd-largest bank, has chosen Aleph Zero to securely store extremely detailed digital replicas of iconic Polish artworks, ensuring their safekeeping for future generations. These artworks will also be stored in the Arctic World Archive. What does that mean? 🔹 Bank Pekao is the first bank to tokenize historical art for long-term preservation. 🔹 Aleph Zero’s secure, low-carbon blockchain was key in making the decision around blockchain choice. 🔹 Digital reproductions are stored as NFTs on Aleph Zero and in the Arctic World Archive, a secure vault safeguarding cultural data for up to 1,000 years. 🔹 Works by Jan Matejko, Stanisław Wyspiański, Wojciech Kossak, and modern artists like Lia Kimura have been digitized and minted as NFTs.
