AMAC Aerospace with our sister company JCB AERO were proud to be part of the Hangar Opening ceremony on the 15.10.24. The event was supported by the entire workforce of JCB AERO, customers, officials from the Auch, Gers region dignitaries of the airport itself. Mr. Philippe Schurrer, Mr. Tarek Muhiddin and Mr. Frederic Dezauzier offered speeches emphasizing the MRO activity plan and the future we have in place for JCB AERO. Ms. Muriel Abadie, representing the Head of Region and Mr. Laurent Carrié, Prefect, gave a speech amongst others highlighting the need to expand Aeronautical endeavors in the region and the news of further employment in the area. AOG Support on Airbus A320 A long term customer contacted AMAC Aerospace in need of AOG support on an Airbus A320. The privately owned aircraft arrived at AMAC Aerospace’s hangars in Basel, Switzerland where it underwent galley repairs. In mid-August the AOG was completed and the aircraft redelivered. The customer was very satisfied with the support and has contracted AMAC Aerospace to carry on with all further cosmetic repairs due to AMAC Aerospace’s strong expertise with back shops. AMAC Aerospace Turkey: Maintenance on Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy One of AMAC Aerospace Turkey’s long term customers brought its Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy to Istanbul, Turkey for routine base maintenance. AMAC Aerospace Turkey’s experienced technicians performed a 36-month inspection and heavy base maintenance on the airframe and engines. Due to scheduled flights, the customer requested reduced downtime and although additional work was conducted, AMAC Aerospace Turkey managed to release the aircraft earlier than proposed turnaround time. Redelivered Boeing B737 after Cosmetic Work In mid-August, AMAC Aerospace opened the hangar doors in Basel, Switzerland, for a Boeing B737. AMAC Aerospace’s experienced Boeing team conducted cosmetic work on the aircraft and only a few days later, the aircraft was back in operation. AMAC Aerospace is developing ‘Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul’ (MRO) capacity through the development of a new facility in JCB Aero in Auch, France JCB Aero, an AMAC Aerospace Company, is proud to announce that we are now operating Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) activities at the hangar in Auch, France, which will allow us to further expand our services and capabilities to our existing and potential new customers. The 5’000 square meter hangar, fully refreshed, can accommodate up to 3x single aisle aircraft simultaneously and has already welcomed the first aircraft early October 2024. The preparation of the hangar started in May 2024 and JCB Aero worked tirelessly with AMAC Aerospace Switzerland to be ready in September 2024. “The launch of the Maintenance, Repair and Overall (MRO) activities is a major step in the development of JCB Aero.
