Mirage • Lapis Lazuli Blue on black, a combination sometimes criticized for not being bold enough. We find it very chic. And for the fashion vintage lovers out there, this is also peak 80's Yves Saint-Laurent.

Mirage • Tiger Eye Depending on the light and the time of the day, Tiger Eye shows many different facets, shifting from a subtle brownish hue, to more vibrant molten tones. This particular image also shows quite well the unbroken veins of the stone going through the hand-dug second counter, a very delicate operation to achieve.

Mirage 34mm • Tiger Eye. Coming from South Africa, Tiger Eye is an incredible stone in the reflections and play of light that it offers, which also makes it a nightmare to photograph ! But it has this indescribable blend of warmth and roundness to it. We will try to film it because a simple photo does not do it justice at all, and those who have tried it in Geneva will understand what we mean. Here worn on Fabien's 17cm | 6.7 inches wrist.

Mirage Lapis Lazuli. With a compact perimeter and a thickness of 2.15mm, our new caliber 215 doesn't offer the required space to add our reverse handset complication, the main objective being to keep the height available for the use of stones on the dial side, without compromising the overall proportions and wearability of the piece. With a movement specially developed for each watch, we can afford to decide on a case-by-case basis, in order to best optimize the movement-casing marriage for the desired intention.

Mirage Lapis Lazuli. With a total thickness of 7mm (glass included), a power reserve of 3 days, and a dial made of the highest quality Afghan Lapis Lazuli, this new Mirage 34 offers a symbiosis of art and technic that was until now just a dream for us. And since the devil is in the details, the small seconds counter is hand carved in the stone, all in one piece. The reception of those who tried it during the Geneva Watch Days has been incredible, and we are truly touched.

Mirage Tiger Eye. As with our first caliber (Cal.233) and due to the industrial inertia of this type of technical development, our new caliber 215 is represented here in the form of a CGI render. This will also be an 18K gold construction (main plate & bridges), specific to the Mirage collection, and the level of finishing will be on a par with the Mirage 38. The first calibers 215 will be visible early next year, during Watches & Wonders 2025 if all goes well.

“Don’t work hard, work smart” sums up the mindset of our asymmetrical calibers. Freeing ourselves from a strictly round main-plate allows us to add surface where it matters. An asymmetrical 15% increase in the caliber footprint results in a 90% increase in power reserve, from 38 to 72 hours. That's an efficiency factor of 5.96 for this modification. 3 days of power reserve in such a small caliber is very unusual. We would like to know if anyone has heard of an equivalent on the market, as we have not found one.

We'll come back to this later in the year with some proper macro shots, but for now, here's another angle on our new Caliber 215, just to give you a better idea of the overall proportions and the different levels of depth it will exhibit. SPECS: • Thickness: 2.15 mm • Frequency: 3.5 Hz • Manual: 3 days of power reserve. • 18K gold: main plate & bridges.
