Last Wednesday, BlueEarth hosted its impact in private markets event in London, where Amy Wang, our head of Private Credit, and Nicolas Muller, our head of Private Equity Partnerships had the pleasure of discussing the role of private credit and private equity secondaries in impact investing. In the panel discussion, Amy, Nicolas, and George Wheeler, CFA shared valuable insights on BlueEarth’s view of the impact investing space, potential opportunities looking ahead, and the right strategies to find resilient, investable, and impactful companies globally. Thank you to all who attended and participated in a lively conversation. Here are the takeaways from our event:   1.      We believe it is of paramount importance to create an efficient secondary market for impact investments. This is likely to lead to an improved liquidity of the market, increase its size, and number of participants 2.      Private credit remains an attractive asset class to support companies at the right stage of the value chain that have been resistant to recent geopolitical headwinds. In this current world of volatility, credit is focused on resilient sectors such as agriculture (food security), where there are more diversified currency scenarios, stable demand and proven business models. We were glad to see Benjamin M. Hogan, CFA, Director in our Private Equity team speak at New Private Markets’ Responsible Investor Forum in New York City last week.
