Over the last two weeks we have organised the… training where you hope you never have to use the knowledge you have acquired. An external provider gave us an exciting first aid course, with a focus on BLS-AED (Basic Life Support and Automatic External Defibrillator). In the comfortable premises of our Bucher Museum in Niederweningen, we had 8 sessions over 4 days, each lasting 4 hours, with a total of 65 volunteer participants who wanted to refresh or deepen their knowledge on this important topic. This training course helped us to gain the theoretical and, above all, practical routine to be able to recognise life-threatening emergencies and to help someone in these situations, in the office or elsewhere. We were able to practise chest compressions and to use a defibrillator on special mannequins. It was a great opportunity to learn interesting facts and get important life-saving tips. The training helped us to strengthen our team building and to work really closely with colleagues from other departments by practising first aid manoeuvres. Many thanks to Hansjörg and his rescue school Rettungsschule Kunzlerimpuls for the passionate way he introduced us to such sensitive topics. #FirstAidCourse #EmergencyCare

------------------------------------- Just in time for the upcoming apple season, the Knill fruit pressing plant on Lake Constance replaced a belt press from a well-known German manufacturer well before the end of its service life with a modern Bucher HPX 7507 fruit press. With a total of five HPX presses at its two German locations in Oberteuringen and Markdorf, the Knill company now relies exclusively on Bucher pressing technology for the economical production of high-quality premium juices from apples and pears. 🍎🍐 The reasons for this are the inherent advantages of the Bucher press in terms of yield, juice quality, hygiene, and operating costs. Other advantages are the low energy and water consumption and the minimal labour requirements for cleaning the presses. We would like to thank Knill for the many years of trusting cooperation and wish them every success with the modern HPX press systems in the coming season. #engineering #beverageindustry #juiceindustry

🍏 Celebrating Apple Season 🍏We always think about the juicy, fresh apples we enjoy, but what about the incredible technology that transforms them into the apple juice we love? Let's take a moment to appreciate the machinery and production lines that power this process, from the orchard to the bottle: 🍎 Reception Lines: where it all begins! Apples are sorted, washed, and prepared for further processing with precision to ensure quality from the start. 🍏 Mills: these machines expertly crush apples, releasing their flavorful juices. It’s a balance of efficiency and care to preserve the natural goodness of the fruit. 🍎 Hydraulic Filter Presses: the next step involves extracting every drop of juice using powerful Bucher hydraulic presses that separate solids from the liquid while retaining the vibrant flavor. 🍏 Evaporators: for concentrated apple juices, these machines reduce the water content and optionally recover the aroma to intensify the flavor, all while maintaining the apple's natural taste and aroma. 🍎 Tanks: massive stainless steel tanks store the juice, keeping it fresh and ready for packaging, with temperature controls ensuring optimal conditions for preserving quality. As we celebrate Apple Day, let’s recognize the innovation and technology that make apple juice production efficient, sustainable, and delicious! 🍹 #AppleSeason #ProductionLines #AppleJuice #FoodProcessing

🍎 With an annual production volume of more than 1.2 million tonnes of apples, Ukraine is one of the five largest producers in Europe. Despite very difficult conditions, the fruit processing companies have managed to modernise their facilities and process the industrial fruit into concentrate in a highly efficient manner. The internationally active Döhler Group is one of the leading processors in Ukraine with 2 plants. By joining forces, it was possible to modernise the juicing line at the Bukovina plant in very short time. 💪 The equipment comes at the right time, the harvest prospects for 2024 are promising! Bucher Unipektin would like to thank all those involved in the project for their professional cooperation, wishes them every success and peace for Ukraine soon! Collaboration of two powerful companies to brings success for each! #engineering #beverageindustry #foodindustry
