*Current State of Cannabis Club Applications in Germany: A Snapshot* As of August 2024, Germany's journey towards legal cannabis clubs has seen varying levels of engagement across different federal states. According to the latest survey conducted by Business Insider Deutschland: 💡 A total of 226 applications have been submitted across the country. 💡 8 applications have been approved so far, all of them from Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen). 💡 Some of the leading states in terms of applications submitted include North Rhine-Westphalia with 53 applications, Baden-Württemberg with 41, and Bavaria (Bayern) and Berlin with 20 each. Despite the number of applications, many states have yet to see any approvals. This data not only highlights the growing interest but also the uncertainty among both the authorities and the clubs.
