📉𝗨𝗕𝗦 𝗖𝗙𝗔 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝘁𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿: 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲📉 The UBS CFA Society Switzerland Indicator stayed in negative territory for the fifth month in a row in October, reflecting a cautious outlook for the next six months. However, there are some bright spots on the horizon: 📊The UBS CFA Society Switzerland Indicator remained in negative territory for the fifth consecutive month in October. Despite a negative outlook over the next six months, participants slightly raised their growth forecast for the Swiss economy for 2024 and 2025. 🇨🇳 Following a large-scale fiscal and monetary stimulus announcements, financial analysts upgraded their growth expectations for China. 📉Survey participants have lowered their inflation expectations for 2025 for Switzerland, with most now anticipating inflation to fall below the 1% mark. While challenges remain, these adjustments in outlook highlight shifting expectations in both local and global markets. Over the quarter, we kept our community engaged with 14 events—both online and in person. In September, our popular after-work drinks returned to Zurich, Geneva, Basel, Lausanne, and Lugano, bringing together more than 130 participants for relaxed networking and connection. September was action-packed! Key initiatives included: • 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘀 with insights into mid-to-late career changes and     crypto careers • 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, drawing 100+ attendees from single and     multi-family offices • 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 featuring Malvika Singh A huge thank you to our volunteers, whose dedication helped us earn the Outstanding Society of the Year Award from CFA Institute—this recognition is for each one of you!
