This week marks a significant milestone for condenZero as we celebrate our fifth anniversary!
Originating from the University of Zurich's Physics department UZH, our journey began with the mission to innovate the transmission electron microscopy (TEM) sector through our advanced cryogenics technology.
Early concepts have been already developed in 2017 and slowly took shape after countless design iterations, with the support of the Laboratory for Quantum Matter Research, and the invaluable contributions of our physics mechanical workshop.
A special shoutout to our early adopters at the Ernst Ruska-Centre (ER-C) of the Forschungszentrum Jülich. Collaborations with Penghan Lu, András Kovács, Thibaud Denneulin, Yan Lu, Michael Faley, Michael Schaaf, and Rafal Dunin-Borkowski have been instrumental in refining our TEM cryostats. We are
immensely grateful for your insights and dedication.
Looking ahead, we are excited to be deploying our systems across Europe, facilitating cutting-edge scientific discoveries in cryo-TEM.
Our journey has been supported by an array of distinguished institutions for which we are profoundly thankful: Werner Siemens Stiftung, SNF BRIDGE Programme, ESA BIC Switzerland, Venture Kick, CERN BIC & Switzerland Innovation Park Innovaare, IBAM, Gebert Rüf Stiftung, and Innosuisse SIP. Your belief in our vision has been pivotal.
Reach out and connect with our team! Dominik Biscette (Rechsteiner), Damian Bucher, Amelia Estry, Andri Wasescha, Robin Weber, Celine Michelle, Johan Chang.
Onward to the next five years and beyond! 🚀
