🇩🇪 What does the future of digital asset legislation in Germany entail? Last week, Ulrike Lierow-Schad (CV Labs Berlin) joined an engaging panel discussion exploring the future of crypto assets in Europe's financial powerhouse Alongside representatives from business, the crypto community, and politics, Ulrike discussed the current situation in legislation and, in particular, taxation of crypto assets. From the discussion, Bundesblock’s key takeaway: “Without a clear fiscal course in place, Germany will see decline in innovation as talent flocks to other friendlier jurisdictions.” As one of the growth areas, the consensus was that blockchain technology needs a firmer place on the political agenda. In the wake of the recent German election results, here at CV VC we look forward to seeing blockchain & Web3 grow in Germany as well as supporting the startup ecosystem flourish
