🎥 🍿 Direct from the auditorium of this year's Opening Session, ECTRIMS is proud to share our 40th anniversary film: "What is ECTRIMS?" This short film traces the rich history of ECTRIMS. It starts with the vision of one of our pioneering founders, Professor Otto R. Hommes. And it ends with a tribute to our collective achievements, the incredible progress we’ve made since our humble beginnings, and the community we’ve built over the last four decades. And what are its risks and limitations? 🩺 In our latest MS Research Spotlight, Professor Douglas Arnold from McGill University says: “Today, the focus is on the application of AI in prognosis, particularly in predicting disability progression and disease activity.” 💊“We would like to develop a tool that can predict future individual treatment response and outcomes under different treatments. We are working on a deep learning model that can predict new and enlarging lesions counts in follow-up MRIs under different treatments," adds Professor Tal Arbel from McGill University. 🚧 However, many challenges remain in advancing AI's role in MS research and clinical care. 🔎Explore the key issues and opportunities in our latest Research Spotlight. https://bit.ly/3A16VUF #MS #MSResearch #MultipleSclerosis #AI #MachineLearning #Healthcare #MedicalResearch #ClinicalCare #Innovation #DeepLearning
