Here are the key takeaways: Session 6: Navigating Conflict Management, Dispute Avoidance, Dispute Boards and Arbitration This session emphasised the importance of internal company policies and practical tools for early dispute management and settlement facilitation: ✅ Early Warning Systems: Proactively managing risks by implementing early dispute warning systems and internal review mechanisms. ✅ DB Decisions: Compliance with Dispute Board decisions is influenced by financial considerations, reputation and the risk of project delays. ✅ Mediation Windows: Mediation and settlement windows are most effective when introduced early in arbitration.
