La Marque du Consommateur, a cooperative in the agri-food sector that allows consumers to take control of their purchasing decisions and ensures fair compensation for French producers in support of local agriculture. This partnership highlights Servair’s commitment to sourcing 100% French products while ensuring that 43% of the sale price goes back to the producers, benefiting over 300 farming families from Bresse, Centre, and the Loire Valley. The collaboration with servair began with milk, but this is just the start, with a variety of products set to follow. 🌟Check out this fantastic initiative by gategroup and the Swiss Education Group.🌟 At the end of this summer, at the Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland in Le Bouveret, 6 teams of students from the Swiss Education Group participated in the #CooknBattle competition hosted by uqonic, a sub-brand of gategroup. Their challenge: to create a menu proposal for the fall menu in the SWISS First Class Lounge at Zurich airport. Each team received a basket of ingredients from the fall menu and had 3 hours to prepare and present their dish to a panel of judges from gategroup and SWISS (Daniel Dittrich, Michael Schiess, and Hubertus Henning). After a day of tasting the 6 delicious menus, the judges selected the winner of the Cook n Battle competition. “It was an incredible experience to see six teams of incredibly talented students showcase their culinary skills and creativity. The dishes they prepared were outstanding, and it was a tough decision for us to choose a winner,” said Hubertus Henning. The winning team got the opportunity to visit Zurich in September, tour the lounges, taste their winning menu and guide the local chefs who will be serving said menu in the SWISS First Class Lounge at Zurich Airport from December until the beginning of February! 🌟 Autumn Delights at the SWISS Lounges! 🌟 At the recent Food & Beverage Event hosted by Swiss International Air Lines at the Alpine Lounge in Zurich Airport, participants had the opportunity to taste seasonal delights and beverages from the First, Business, and Senator Airport Lounges of Swiss International Airlines. The culinary journey was curated by Daniel Dittrich and Michael Schiess. They shared some insight into the seasonal menu and the inspiration behind it. The aim was to demonstrate the diversity of the seasonal lounge menu and allow guests to experience firsthand the pristine quality and regional aspects of the ingredients.
