Okay, let's be real. When Adobe invited us to give a talk about our professional and personal stories, we were quite astonished. We didn't believe it would be interesting to anyone, especially when compared to all the amazing talents we know. Moreover, speaking at Adobe Max in Los Angeles was a terrifying prospect. Being on stage for 45 minutes and speaking in our non-native language was incredibly challenging for us. While we love working behind our screens and aren't afraid to try new things and sometimes fail, exposing ourselves like this was the most difficult thing we've ever done. We spent a lot of time crafting the best presentation we could, aiming to explain some technical concepts the way we would have loved to understand them. It was incredibly hard, and the tension grew day by day. When we arrived in Los Angeles, we were welcomed by the most amazing and kind team we could have ever dreamed of. The Adobe team supported us until the very last minute before being on stage, and when we started, they were in the audience, looking at us and cheering for us. What a fantastic experience. After our talk, we met many attendees who came to us, saying how interesting our presentation was and expressing their desire to start learning 3D. It was incredibly touching. Sometimes in life, you have to conquer your fear. We learned this the hard way, and public speaking can make anyone feel vulnerable. But the love and support from the people you can receive is worth the hundreds of hours of work and worry.
