Exploring the potential of upcycled materials. We were impressed by Joana Sager's graduation project, Product Design, at Schule für Gestaltung Zürich, where she designed this functional chair using our ARCHISONIC® Felt, made from upcycled PET bottles. What truly made this project special was the collaborative effort: Our in-house team of skilled CNC masters and material experts were thrilled to support Joana, providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the process. Gensler's London team had the pleasure of creating the Design Talks Lounge for the 2025 Workspace Design Show in London, marking our second consecutive year. The lounge concept "Awakening" was inspired by the theme of the show "Activate the Senses," with the stage designed to evoke the cycle of a day. The feature screen showcased a sky transitioning between sunrise and sunset, symbolising the earth's daily activation and representing the idea of a new day filled with endless possibilities, with the sun being the life source.
