Together with IF Metall, IndustriALL has signed an updated global framework agreement with H&M, protecting the interests of more than one million garment workers. The agreement continues the important work to further empower workers and unions in H&M’s supply chain. It includes significant achievements, like the inclusion of all core ILO conventions, as well as ILO Convention 190 on violence and harassment. #GarmentWorkersNeedUnions

The right to strike and the right to organize are fundamental pillars of worker empowerment, enshrined in International Labour Organization Conventions 87 and 98. These rights are essential for workers and unions to protect their interests and assert their power against the enormous economic and political influence of employers.
