We are delighted to present LAUFEN PRO X, the third generation of the bathroom collection that is celebrating its 20th birthday. The development of PRO X was created in close cooperation between the renowned design studio Vetica Group under the direction of Peter Wirz and the experts for ceramics, production, and application at LAUFEN. The result of this collaboration is a contemporary reinterpretation: organic pool shapes and clear lines that fit seamlessly into modern architectural concepts. The LAUFEN PRO X collection extends from washbasins to toilets and bidets, additionally offering numerous variants, especially for washbasins. The ergonomically shaped faucets are available in classic chrome or modern matt black. Sustainable design was the focus of the Roca Group press conference at ISH. Roca Group CEO, Albert Magrans, and Roca Group Marketing and Design Director, Marc Viardot, both took to the stage, followed by the designers.  Representing LAUFEN was Yves Béhar, the pioneering designer who conceived VOLTA, a washbasin that transforms the motion of water in the bathroom. We are thrilled to unveil VOLTA, a revolutionary washbasin designed by renowned designer Yves Béhar. Inspired by the way water flows in nature, sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly, Béhar’s design no longer has the shape of a bowl. The water flows down a curved ramp that is inscribed like a spiral in the round basic shape of the washbasin. The water is directed to the waste at the centre of the basin, at the foot of the ramp. One of the most important pioneers in the promotion and development of recyclable products and materials, Béhar is inspired by sustainability. Not only is VOLTA designed to save water, but it is also fired in LAUFEN’s new e-kiln, the world’s first CO2-free firing kiln for sanitary ceramics located at the LAUFEN factory in Gmunden. The topography of VOLTA is made possible by Saphirkeramik, an ultra-thin ceramic material developed by LAUFEN. Saphirkeramik expands the potential of ceramic, enabling remarkably fine lines and edges. VINA Bar & Restaurant, a Vietnamese restaurant in Graz, Austria, has won the International Property Awards for the Leisure Interior category. A palette of earthy tones and nuances of green come together in a design that fuses tradition and contemporary styling throughout.
