We have recently reached an important milestone on our journey to net-zero emissions by 2050, in line with our science-based climate targets. We have launched our first agroforestry pilot project together with our implementation partners AGROMAP and Earthshot Labs. Initially focusing on Côte d’Ivoire, the world’s biggest producer of cocoa, the goal of the project is to develop 20,000 hectares of cocoa with high carbon stock agroforestry by 2030. Over one and half million additional shade trees on cocoa farms we source from are planned to be integrated by our partners along with additional support provided to farmers to enable agricultural diversification and better access to farm services. #WeEnchantTheWorldWithChocolate #GrowTogether

The Lindt & Sprüngli Group once again reports strong #sales results for the financial year 2024 with an organic growth of 7.8% to CHF 5.47 billion. All regions contributed to this #performance with continued organic growth and market share gains. These results were achieved despite a challenging market environment, with cocoa prices remaining at a historic high. In 2024, the #trend toward gifting, pralines, and hollow figures continued. Key #growth drivers were Lindor and Excellence with product #innovations such as the Excellence Pailleté range and new Lindor flavors such as Tiramisu. This week, the winners of a global sweepstake were invited to our headquarters in Kilchberg, Switzerland, to meet our long-time Lindt Brand Ambassador Roger Federer. They had the unique opportunity to take photos with the Swiss tennis legend and ask him a few questions. The rest of the day was spent at the Lindt Home of Chocolate, starting with a museum tour to discover the history and heritage of Swiss chocolate, followed by a chocolate making course and a visit to the largest Lindt Shop in the world. The experience concluded with a typical Swiss dinner – a perfect end to an extraordinary day. This week, we opened our first Lindt Chocolate Shop in Chile, with a second one to follow before the end of the month. Lindt & Sprüngli established its own subsidiary in Chile earlier this year, as the second market in South America after Brazil. With our own shops, we can actively create a premium shopping #experience, offering a wide range of Lindt products and allowing our Chocolate Advisors to help our Chilean customers find the chocolates they desire. The opening of our first store was a joint #success, with Lindt & Sprüngli Brasil sharing their #expertise from managing more than 80 stores, and Lindt & Sprüngli Chile contributing their local #knowledge. Team members from both subsidiaries were present at the opening ceremony to cut the red ribbon and #celebrate the occasion together. 🗽Ghirardelli arrives in the heart of New York City 🗽 We are delighted to announce the opening of the first Ghirardelli Chocolate & Ice Cream Shop in the Empire State Building in New York. With over 250 square meters of #retail space, the shop offers an extensive range of Ghirardelli chocolates, a hot fudge kettle machine, as well as 13 different Hot Fudge Sundaes. The new store marks two #icons coming together – the building that has long defined the New York City skyline, and the country’s oldest, continually operating #premium chocolate brand. To celebrate the historic moment, the shop was opened last week by Ghirardelli CEO Joel Burrows, who was joined by singer and New York native Mary J. Blige for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The Empire State Building even honored the special occasion by lighting up the building in Ghirardelli colors for the evening.
