Power Model has been shown on the Teams Contact Centre page for as long as I can remember, shown as 'Coming soon', I hope that time might be arriving finally... So what is the Power model, I've used an image from Luware Nimbus (currently certified under the Extend model) to help visualise this deeper connection method. Let's dive into some detail: The Power model is one of the 3 integration models for Microsoft certified contact centres, alongside the Connect and Extend models. Here's how the Power model works: This model is the most deeply integrated with Microsoft Teams. It allows contact centre providers to use Teams' calling infrastructure to create native Azure-based voice applications. The Power model leverages the Microsoft Teams SDK (Software Development Kit) to embed native Teams experiences directly into the contact centre application. This means that the contact centre solution can access all Teams functionalities, providing a seamless and unified experience for agents and customers. 🔑 Key Features of the Power Model: - Native Integration: The contact centre solution is fully integrated with Microsoft Teams, allowing agents to use Teams as their primary interface for all communications. - Unified Experience: Agents can handle calls, chats, and other interactions within a single application, reducing the need to switch between different tools. - Enhanced Functionality: The Power model enables advanced features such as presence information, call transfers, group calls, and more, all within the Teams environment. - High-Quality Communication: By using Teams' native infrastructure, the Power model ensures high audio and video quality with minimal latency. - Access to Azure Ecosystem: The integration with Azure allows contact centres to leverage other Azure services, such as Cognitive Services for AI-driven insights and Power BI for data analytics. The Power model aims to provide a comprehensive contact centre experience within the Microsoft Teams environment, enhancing productivity and customer satisfaction.
