This #WorldCottonDay, we’re celebrating more than just a fabric. For the past three years, we’ve been demonstrating that a complete reset of sportswear is possible. No plastic. No compromise. Just performance and comfort-driven gear made from one of nature's most powerful fibers: cotton. Today is our birthday 🎂 . On October 5th, 2021, we launched Mover Plastic Free Sportswear with a question: Can we do sports without synthetics? Within these 3 years : 🎉 We launched the first complete outdoor collection with 0% plastic (since 1950!). 🎉 Our team has gone from 2 to 6 in the past year. 🎉 We became SailGP's (“world’s most exciting sport on water”) official supplier. 🎉 We were joined by leading brands and newcomers, like Icebreaker, on our plastic-free journey. These milestones alone make us proud and confident that we have the capacity to develop our brand and influence the market towards a better, less polluting one. We're only 3 years old, for us nothing is impossible and the future is bright! Let's embark on this journey together. #NothingBeatsNature

Did you know that nearly every zipper in the world contains plastic? Whether it’s in the teeth or the tape itself, zippers are usually made from polyester or polycotton blends. At the design stage, we knew there had to be a better way. We finally partnered with YKK, a global zipper supplier to recreate and bring back the cotton original —100% plastic-free. In fact, YKK had to use their old machinery to make it happen. Sometimes we need to take a look back into the past, to find the right direction for the future. Over a third of us rarely check fabric labels when buying sportswear, yet the impact of synthetic materials is haunting our planet. Every synthetic garment ever made still exists in some form. Wool, however, is natural, biodegradable, and breaks down into useful nutrients that help fertilize the soil. From this day until December 31, any plastic entering waste systems will likely end up in nature. We know that consequences are alarming, but there’s hope. Let us shift the narrative and celebrate solutions that are courageously redesigning plastic out of the system. After all, the most effective way to eliminate something is to avoid using it in the first place. By rethinking how we dress and consume, we can make an immediate and meaningful impact.
