Celebrating Women Who Build, Lead, and Inspire 💜✨ On this International Women’s Day #IWD25, we honour the women who are breaking barriers, building businesses, and leading industries with resilience and vision. From tech innovators to food entrepreneurs, women founders are reshaping markets, creating jobs, and driving impact across the world. They beat challenges, push through biases, and redefine success on their own terms. 💪 Yet, despite the progress, women-owned businesses still receive only a fraction of global investment funding. It’s time to not just celebrate women but to support, invest in, and amplify the incredible work they do. Our inspiring leader, Diana Sabrain, CEO & Co-Founder of OneAgrix, is transforming global food trade by championing traceability, transparency, and ethical sourcing in faith-based food markets. Her leadership is paving the way for a more connected and trustworthy food system, a testament to what happens when women lead with purpose and innovation. To all the women building something bigger than themselves: "Your leadership matters, your work matters, and your vision is shaping the future." 💡 Tag a woman founder, leader, or entrepreneur who inspires you! 💜 #InternationalWomensDay #WomenInBusiness #WomenEntrepreneurs #WomenWhoLead #OneAgrix Salama Evans #IWD25

How to Make Sure Your Food Suppliers Are Legit? Food fraud is everywhere. In May 2024, there were already 2,479 recorded incidents. It costs businesses millions (estimated at $10-$15 billion annually), damages reputations, and worst of all, puts people’s health at risk. If you’re sourcing Halal, Kosher, or Vegan products, you NEED to know exactly where they’re coming from. Here’s how to check if your supplier is the real deal: ✅ Check for Verifiable Certifications (Don’t Just Take Their Word for It) Authentic suppliers will have recognized Halal, Kosher, or organic certifications that meet global standards. Look for government-approved Halal, Kosher, or organic certifications. But don’t stop there. Cross-check with the issuing body. Counterfeit certificates are more common than you’d think. So always verify. ✅ Traceability Matters A reliable supplier can show you exactly where their products come from. If they can’t track it, they can’t prove it’s real. Technologies like Blockchain and DNA traceability make this foolproof and allow businesses to track a product's journey in real time. ✅ Audit Supplier Compliance & Documentation Don’t take suppliers at face value.  Conduct regular audits, either remotely or through site visits. Review supplier documents, including safety inspections, facility audits, and supply chain records. A reputable supplier will be transparent and willing to share this information. If they hesitate to share details, that’s a red flag. ⛳ ✅ Reputation Over Price If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is. Vet suppliers by checking their track record and speaking to other buyers. Review any past recalls or fraud cases. A supplier with a solid track record is worth more than a cheap deal that could backfire later. ✅ Use Tech to Your Advantage Gone are the days of calling around and chasing documents. Platforms like OneAgrix verify supplier credentials, track supply chains in real-time, and ensure food integrity before products reach your shelves. ----------------- Food safety is a brand differentiator now. Businesses that prioritize authenticity build stronger trust with their consumers & stand out in an increasingly conscious marketplace. --------------- Trust is everything. 🤝 If a supplier can’t prove their authenticity, it’s not worth the risk. Ever dealt with a shady supplier? Let’s hear it in the comments. #FoodSafety #Traceability #HalalTrade #SupplyChain #Procurement #OneAgrix #verification #Suppliers

24.6 million people in Sudan are facing crisis-level hunger today. Famine has already gripped parts of North Darfur, and millions more teeter on the brink. Behind these staggering numbers are: ⚠️ mothers feeding their children leaves and bark ⚠️ farmers watching their fields turn to ash ⚠️ families trapped in conflict zones with no way out. The conflict has shattered livelihoods, doubled cereal prices, and crippled agriculture. Up to 80% of households in regions like the Nuba Mountains have ZERO FOOD STOCKS. Women and children bear the heaviest burden. 📊 #GANNET Virtual Assistant’s analysis warns that acute malnutrition among children under five and pregnant/breastfeeding women will spiral beyond current estimates in 2025 if violence escalates. But data alone is not enough. We need actionable solutions that ensure food security, resilience, and traceability in global supply chains. But the real crisis is "The world isn’t paying attention." The global response is too slow, too fragmented, and too reactive. Food insecurity isn’t just about scarcity. It’s about access, affordability, and ensuring food reaches those who need it most. 💡 What’s needed? 🔍 Accurate insights help anticipate shortages before they spiral into famine. 🌍 Secure supply chains ensure food moves quickly, even in crisis zones. ✅ Trade and supply chains that function even in crises. 🤝 Collaboration across sectors makes humanitarian aid more efficient and transparent. The solutions exist. The question is, how fast can we act? Every moment lost increases the human cost. It’s time to rethink how we prevent #hunger, not just react to it. 👉 Don’t let this go unnoticed. Share this. Speak up. Demand action. "You have a great product, but no one knows about it." That’s the struggle for countless Halal, Kosher, and Vegan food suppliers. You’ve ensured quality and compliance, but getting the right buyer’s attention? That’s the real challenge! Here’s why: ❌ 62% of businesses have limited supply chain visibility. If buyers can’t verify your certifications or track your product’s journey, they simply move on to the next supplier. Are you losing deals because of this? ❌ 92% of companies don’t trust the data they receive about product movements. That’s why big retailers demand blockchain-backed verification. If you’re still relying on emails and PDFs to prove compliance, you might be holding your business back. ❌ Most suppliers still use manual processes, making them slower, less efficient, and harder to trust. The food industry is evolving. Are you keeping up? OneAgrix gives suppliers a competitive edge! ✅ Direct Market Access We connect you with pre-qualified, serious buyers looking for Halal, Kosher, and Vegan-certified products. No more waiting and hoping. ✅ No Middlemen Keep 100% control over your pricing and margins. 🚨 The Looming Ban on Red Dye No. 3 This bright red dye isn't as innocent as it seems. Found in thousands of candies, snacks, and sodas, it has a darker side—linkages to behavioural issues in children and thyroid cancer in lab rats. Despite being a staple in food products since 1969, this petroleum-based dye has been banned or restricted globally in countries like Japan, China, and the EU. Now, the FDA may finally ban it in the US. 🛑 What's driving this potential ban? It has zero health benefits—just marketing appeal. Research points to adverse health effects, including hyperactivity in children and cancer in animals. California's ban, effective 2027, has already set a precedent, urging other states and the FDA to act. 💡 Why this matters: 1️⃣ Health First: Kids consume this dye the most, thanks to snacks and candies. Banning Red No. 3 could reduce their exposure to this harmful substance. 2️⃣ Innovation Boom: Natural alternatives like beet juice and paprika offer safer solutions with added nutritional benefits. 3️⃣ Consumer Awareness: A ban could heighten consumers' scrutiny over synthetic additives and possible health risks. They'll pay closer attention to food labels and ingredients before buying a food product. ↩️ This shift could be a turning point in reshaping the food industry's approach to safety and transparency. A ban would prioritise health over marketing and push food brands to innovate. It could also get us all thinking more about what's really in our food. It also aligns with global moves toward sustainable practices and healthier lifestyles—a mission we at OneAgrix champion through our commitment to traceable, authentic food supply chains. 📌 Read below about the FDA's deliberations and how it impacts our food ecosystem. Let's discuss: Would you welcome a more stringent approach to food safety? Share your thoughts below!

The Food and Drug Administration may soon ban artificial dye Red No. 3, thanks to the work of many public health advocates and lobbyists. The petroleum-based dye, found in thousands of products, including candies, snacks and sodas, has been linked to thyroid cancer in rats and behavioral issues in children. The FDA has been considering the ban since 2022 and is expected to announce a decision any day. Growing concerns about the dye have already led the state of California to ban it, a law that will take effect in 2027. In addition, Red Dye No. 3 has been banned or severely restricted in many countries including Japan, China and the European Union. Read more: https://trib.al/jSpMKAx
