Yesterday we were invited to present our work with Amt für Wirtschaft, Kanton Zürich, Metropolitankonferenz Zürich and Stadt Frauenfeld in the context of the AI Sandbox of Kanton Zürich. The presentation was organized in the context of the Digital Economy Award ceremony at AG Hallenstadion in Zurich, and gave us the opportunity to get in touch with all the other Sandbox winners from the region. We are all shaping the future with very concrete AI applications!

Intelligente Ampel-Anlage für Fahrzeug Dosierung mit KI Nachdem wir in den letzten Wochen unsere Abteilungen und Teams vorgestellt haben, wechseln wir nun zu interessanten Projekten. Auf einer Grossbaustelle sind die Platzverhältnisse eng, und der Warenaustausch mit dem laufenden Betrieb muss auch während der Bauphase reibungslos funktionieren. Um sicherzustellen, dass wartende Lastwagen die Transport- und Fluchtwege nicht blockieren, werden die LKW in einem Wartebereich mit einem Lichtsignal zurückgehalten. Eine Kamera mit der KI-Software von Parquery meldet die Belegungszustände der LKW-Rampen an die Ampel-Steuerung. Der Betreiber kann zudem mit einer Fernbedienung die LKWs beim Lichtsignal aufhalten, wenn der einspurige Transportweg in der Gegenrichtung benötigt wird. Dieses Projekt wurde in Partnerschaft zwischen Parquery und der WALTER AG Signaltechnik umgesetzt. Beide Partner haben ihre Lösungen kombiniert, und das System ist modular erweiterbar. Mögliche Erweiterungen sind: -           Visualisierungen, -           zusätzliche Fernbedienungen, -           weitere Rampenplätze, -           Schranken und -           versenkbare Poller.
