These new activities located in International Space University incubator (Innovation park of #Strasbourg) will lead to the creation of approximately 15 jobs over 3 years! [UN NOUVEL ACTEUR SUR LE PARC D’INNOVATION]   Prometheus Life Technologies implante son premier bureau européen sur le Parc d'Innovation de Strasbourg.   Prometheus Life Technologies est une spinn-off du Space Hub de l'University of Zurich, fondée en 2022 et issue de recherches menées par Oliver Ullrich et Cora Thiel sur l'influence de la gravité sur les cellules humaines. Les premiers essais préparatoires ont été effectués à bord de l'#ISS en 2020 grâce au concours de la société Airbus Defence and Space. Prometheus Life Technologies est spécialisée dans la culture d’#organoïdes de tissus humains en #microgravité et développe une technologie de production à grande échelle d’organoïdes en microgravité afin de conduire une activité de services pour accélérer le développement de nouveaux composés #pharmaceutiques et de nouvelles #thérapies de médecine régénérative.   Basée sur le Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich, la startup a choisi l’ISU Incubator pour implanter son premier bureau européen. Prometheus Life Technology is a spinn-off from the University of Zurich's Space Hub, funded in 2022 and grew out of research by Oliver Ullrich and Cora Thiel into the influence of gravity on human cells. The first preparatory tests were carried out on board the ISS in 2020 with the support of Airbus Defence and Space. Prometheus Life Technologies specializes in growing human tissue organoids in microgravity and is developing a technology for large-scale production of organoids in microgravity to enhance the development and testing of pharmaceutical compounds, as well as regenerative medicine. Based at the Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich, the startup has chosen the ISU Incubator as the location for its first European office.
