We are delighted that Peter Schild, our MD of Sustainability, has been elected to the Board of the ISCC - International Sustainability and Carbon Certification Association. Peter joins an 8 strong Board representing producers and processors, trade, logistics and other system users, and NGOs, science, research and the public sector. This comes at a time of greater focus on certification and compliance with new and proposed regulations in the EU and worldwide. Peter said, “it’s an honour to be elected to the Board, and great recognition for the work that Proman is doing to promote methanol as a cleaner chemical and fuel in particular. I am looking forward to working with my new Board colleagues and connecting the ISCC with industry bodies such as the Methanol Institute, as well as the ongoing work of the IMO, as producers seek recognition for products produced at lower carbon intensities and certification of actual emissions. This will encourage investments in greener and innovative technologies such as carbon capture and storage, and help build the market where end users are prepared to pay the premium for cleaner and greener molecules.” Proman has been a member of the ISCC Association since 2022 and our Pampa plant in Texas is ISCC PLUS and EU certified for the production of biomethanol. Our partnerships with market leaders like Proman make emissions reporting more transparent, compliant, and cost-effective for companies throughout the supply chain. Using EarnDLT's platform, Proman creates Quantified Emissions Tokens® for their methanol product, each of which store independently-verified data about: ✅ Where and when the methanol was made ✅ The feedstock the methanol was made from ✅ The production process used to convert the feedstock into methanol ✅ The Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) of the methanol batch Proman transfers these tokens to customers, allowing these downstream buyers to easily record and account for emissions and comply with global regulations — all in a cost-effective manner. Yesterday, Ricardo Mohammed, Executive Director, Group Operations, made a strong case for Trinidad and Tobago to capitalise on methanol’s expanding role as a pathway fuel and its economic potential. Speaking on the CEO’s Panel – Investing in Trinidad and Tobago at the 2025 T&T Energy Conference, he highlighted the opportunities ahead. “When I reflect on the methanol market, one-word sticks in my mind - Opportunity. Just a few years ago, methanol was used exclusively as a chemical – being turned into all manner of end products. Today it is also an essential pathway fuel for the global energy transition. That means that its demand and potential is growing year on year, which represents a huge economic opportunity for methanol-producing nations such as Trinidad and Tobago." As a Platinum Sponsor, Proman is proud to contribute to industry-shaping discussions and looks forward to continued engagement with partners and stakeholders throughout the event. The conference continues today in Port of Spain, with more insightful discussions on investing for the future. #TTEnergyConference2025 #EnergyTransition #Methanol #Innovation

The T&T Energy Conference 2025 kicked off on Monday, and as a Platinum Sponsor, Proman is proud to be part of the conversations shaping the future of energy, investment, and sustainability. Our Chief Executive David Cassidy joined a high-profile panel with other global energy leaders emphasising the need for pragmatic policies and collaboration to balance innovation with economic realities. David said, “Global demand for energy in all its forms is growing exponentially. Just look at the impact AI and data centres are having and will have on power demands. Business, government and policymakers need to work together to develop solutions, innovate and meet this challenge in an intelligent and realistic way. That is what is driving us to find new markets for methanol as a cleaner burning, lower emission, alternative fuel." “Now is the moment to define a more realistic pathway to 2050, looking to the art of the possible and working together to create the conditions for business to invest and deliver in the near term.” Our leadership team also welcomed senior government officials and other key industry stakeholders including Trinidad and Tobago’s Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Keith Rowley and Minister of Energy and Energy Industries, the Hon. Stuart Young at our tradeshow booths. We look forward to engaging with partners and stakeholders throughout the three-day event. #TTEnergyConference2025 #EnergyTransition #Methanol #Innovation
