🤝 Das Alterszentrum Promulins in Samedan, Stiftung Gesundheitsversorgung Oberengadin (SGO), setzt auf die Zusammenarbeit mit QUMEA, um die Betreuung der Bewohnenden durch unser radarbasiertes Mobilitäts-Monitoring zu verbessern. Ziel: Weniger Stürze, eine höhere Sicherheit für die Bewohnenden und emotionale Entlastung für Angehörige und Pflegepersonal. Diese partnerschaftliche Zusammenarbeit ist ein grosser Schritt, um das Wohl der Bewohnenden zu fördern und gleichzeitig die Pflege zu unterstützen. Die enge Kooperation gewährleistet, dass sich Bewohnenden sicher und gut aufgehoben fühlen, während das Pflegepersonal sich auf seine wesentlichen Aufgaben konzentrieren kann. Our AI-driven system is designed to offer peace of mind to healthcare providers and their patients, by enabling more informed and timely decisions in healthcare settings. With over 100 AI systems implemented across various healthcare environments, QUMEA’s innovation is shaping the future of healthcare. This commitment to innovation earned us an invitation to the esteemed “AI in Healthcare” event, co-organized by Merantix Momentum, Future4Care and Flying Health at the Merantix AI Campus in Berlin. This gathering brought together leading voices across the healthcare landscape, from hospitals, pharma, insurers, GPs, and startup founders—all united by a shared goal: to push the boundaries of what AI can do to improve patient care. Our Anna Windisch took part as a panelist alongside other industry experts such as Anisa Idris, Dr. med. Mina Carolina Baumgarten, Marek Rydzewski, and Dr. med. Frederic Kube, MBA, moderated by Katherine Ossenkopp. These thought leaders explored both the progress and the challenges we face in AI implementation across the healthcare ecosystem. From improving patient monitoring systems to optimizing hospital operations, the discussions highlighted how AI is already transforming healthcare—and where further collaboration is needed to address remaining challenges. Bertram Weiss kicked off the event and introduced Karen Piontek for an inspiring keynote, which set the stage for the deep dive into healthcare AI.    A big thank you to the organizing team for their hard work in making the event a success. 🎉 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗤𝗨𝗠𝗘𝗔! 🎉 We are thrilled that our collaborative project with Region Västra Götaland has been recognized once again. This groundbreaking initiative marked a significant milestone as the first use of smart sensors in a Swedish hospital to prevent falls. The project has not only achieved outstanding results but has also provided us with invaluable insights into the power of technology when integrated effectively. Here’s what we’ve learned: 1️⃣ 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆: Technology can significantly improve patient safety by seamlessly integrating into existing workflows without disrupting staff operations. 2️⃣ 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: QUMEA can save around 30,000 SEK annually per bed—net of all costs! Im CUBEX 41 & CUBEX ONE trafen sich Fachpersonen aus der Pflege, Ärzteschaft sowie dem IT- und Innovationsmanagement, um über das Schwerpunktthema #Delir zu sprechen. Highlights des Tages: 🌟 Dr. med. Rebecca von Haken beeindruckte uns mit ihrer Power und Einblicke in ihr Delir-Programm - "Jeder einzelne Mensch zählt." Die Oberärztin des Universitätsklinikums Mannheim, begeisterte das Publikum mit ihrer Energie und Expertise im Delir Management. 🕵️♂️ Dr. phil. Wolfgang Hasemann zeigte uns, wie Sherlock Holmes in der Geriatrie ins Spiel kommt. Dr. phil. Wolfgang Hasemann, Leiter des Basler Demenz-Delir Programms inspirierte durch seine Erfahrung und Forschung. 🚀 Cyrill Gyger, CEO von QUMEA, eröffnete die Veranstaltung. 💡Hannah Schlott gab uns wertvolle Einblicke in das INSPIRE Living Lab. Die Veranstaltung bot wertvolle Networking-Gelegenheiten 🤝 und endete mit einem gemütlichen Schweizer Apéro 🧀🥂. Die Teilnehmer konnten zusätzlich das Living Lab in Kleingruppen besichtigen und sich von den innovativen Ansätzen vor Ort überzeugen. Ein großer Dank geht an alle Teilnehmer und Referenten.
