It’s been a few weeks since ALD/ALE in Helsinki, but the excitement around our SC-1 system hasn’t slowed down 🔥. And it’s no surprise—the SC-1 combines powerful capabilities in a compact, modular design, seamlessly integrating #ALD and #PVD without breaking vacuum or moving the substrate. Whether it’s for quick metallization and immediate encapsulation, or complex metal-insulator-metal stacks to hundreds of multilayers using the broad materials library from ALD and PVD, the SC-1 series delivers unmatched versatility.🥇 If you didn’t get a chance to talk to us or grab a leaflet, here’s a digital copy to explore!

Exciting news! 🎉 We’ve just completed our very first US installation of our SC-1 at Iowa State University's Department of Materials Science and Engineering. Prof. Dr. Sid Pathak's group will be exploring interface strain-driven pseudomorphic phase transformations in multilayered #nanocomposites, supported by his recent NSF CAREER award. 🏆 These and other ambitious multilayered #thinfilms will be fabricated using the SC-1, combining #ALD and #PVD processes within this compact equipment, without breaking vacuum. Our CEO, Dr. Carlos Guerra was on-site for the installation and training, as well as discussing ongoing collaborations. Big thanks to Prof. Pathak and his group, Skye Supakul, Amruta Vaghela. We’re eager to continue our work together and drive innovation forward! ✨
