At Swissport we think global but act local, and our #Seattle team is leading the way! 🌍 The Port of Seattle has launched a Ground Support Equipment program aimed at equipping individuals, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, with the skills to become #GSE mechanics—and Swissport is proud to play a key role. Our GSE Manager in #SEA, Donna, is working closely with the school advisory board to enhance the program, ensuring students receive the knowledge and hands-on training they need to succeed. In addition, Swissport has donated two baggage tractors and a fuel hydrant truck, valued at $20,000 USD, to give students access to top-notch equipment. 🚜✈️ By partnering with the Port of Seattle's GSE initiative, Swissport is not only helping to build a skilled workforce within the local community but also empowering students to launch their #aviationcareer. Providing access to modern, well-maintained equipment ensures students learn industry best practices and safety standards from day one, preparing them to thrive in environments where safety is paramount.

At Swissport safety is our number one priority, and we regularly reinforce the importance of safety with regularly trainings and activities. For example, our Swissport team in Buraydah #ELQ, Saudi Arabia, just organized a Safety Day filled with learning and fun, including: 🛫 ATC tower visit: Colleagues got an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at air traffic control. 🚧 FOD walk: On the FOD walk (or Foreign Object Debris walk), the team thoroughly checked and cleared FOD for ramp safety. ☀️ Beat the heat: The Safety Day wrapped up with some essential tips on staying safe from heat stroke during the hot summer. A huge thanks to our incredible team and management for making this day a success, and for continuing to prioritize health and safety at Swissport. 💪
