📣 PRESS RELEASE: Entstehen eines neuartigen Recycling-Zentrums für Elektrofahrzeug-Batterien in Biberist (SO)! Allein in der Schweiz müssen bis 2040 jährlich mindestens 15’000 Tonnen Lithium-Ionen-Batterien aus elektrisch betriebenen Fahrzeugen kreislauftauglich rückverarbeitet werden. Zu diesem Zweck hat das Swiss Battery Technology Center (SBTC), eines der vier Forschungszentren unseres Innovationsparks, in Zusammenarbeit mit der Standortförderung Kanton Solothurn die SBTC Solothurn GmbH im Papieri Areal in Biberist gegründet. 🤩 It's the very first Swiss made additive machine tool and we got it from IRPD (United Grinding Group)! Our brand new "IMPACT 4530" enables laser-powered metal powder melting in micrometer-thick layers for the automated assembly of complex geometries in single-part production.
