The 1st International Humanoid Forum, organized by Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne Ltd., Swiss Smart Factory (SSF) and the Swiss Cobotics Competence Center (S3C), just took place on February 20-21, 2025.  𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺:  🔹 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲: Robots are evolving into skilled collaborators across healthcare, logistics, customer service, and beyond, no longer just machines, but integral team members.  🔹 𝗔𝗜 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝘀 & 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: As humanoids become more prevalent, the focus on safety, transparency, and accountability in their deployment has never been more crucial.  🔹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘀: Innovations in dexterity, real-time learning, and emotional intelligence are revolutionizing human-robot interaction, creating smarter, more intuitive robots.  🔹 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲: The aim is not to replace humans but to augment our capabilities, making work safer, more efficient, and improving the quality of life. Dr. Dominic Gorecky, Head of SSF, shared valuable perspectives, emphasizing that this is not just about robots, but about a new era of cognitive automation and embodied AI. He emphasizes that we’re entering an era beyond Industry 4.0, where a combination of vision and action will be crucial.
