Did you know? 40% of companies use AI in product development, 35% in customer service, and 30% in marketing and sales. But what’s the real story behind these numbers? Let us take you on a quick journey through our latest survey of 65 companies. Imagine a bustling tech hub. AI is at the heart of it, driving innovation and making waves. Here's how the initial numbers are being used: 1/ Product Development: 40% of companies are using AI in their Product Development department. AI is supercharging ideas and making them reality faster than ever. 2/ Customer Service: 35% of companies use AI to improve their Customer Service. Chatbots, virtual assistants, and AI-driven insights are making customers feel heard, understood, and valued. 3/ Marketing & Sales: More than 30% of companies integrated AI in their Marketing and Sales funnel. From personalized ads to predicting what customers want before they do, AI is turning leads into loyal customers. But what makes all this possible? Let’s look at the tech under the hood: → Machine Learning: It’s the brain of AI, helping companies make sense of massive data piles and make better decisions. Approximately 60% of companies use ML to reach their goals. → Natural Language Processing: The heart of AI, making communication feel more human, whether it’s in chatbots or voice assistants. Around 50% of companies NLP to make their customer service and marketing & sales teams more efficient. However, there are roadblocks that no one talks about 🚧 Of course, every hero has a weakness. For AI, it’s ethics. 43% of companies lack ethical AI policies: That’s a huge number of organizations navigating the AI world without a moral compass. It's a ticking time bomb.💣 But the good news is companies are not standing still. Half of them are doubling down, scaling up their AI projects and diving into new ones. They know AI isn’t just a buzzword—it’s the future. So, what’s your next move? AI is reshaping the way we work, serve customers, and think. How will your organisation adapt, scale, and overcome the challenges? Let’s hear your thoughts below! 👇 #AI #Innovation #BusinessGrowth

The AI Wave is Transforming Software Development Teams Recent trends reveal that AI is not just a buzzword but a driving force in software development. Github surveyed 2,000 professionals across the U.S., Brazil, India, and Germany to understand how generative AI tools are reshaping the software development landscape. Here's what they found: 1/ AI Usage is Widespread: A striking 97% of respondents have used AI coding tools at work. This trend is consistent across all surveyed regions. 2/ Company Support Varies: While 88% of U.S. companies support AI tool usage, only 59% of companies in Germany do. This gap highlights a missed opportunity for better AI adoption and support. 3/ Boost in Productivity: AI isn't about replacing jobs—it's about enhancing productivity. Developers reported using the time saved by AI to innovate, collaborate, and better meet customer needs. However, individual AI usage alone isn't enough. To truly unlock AI's potential, organizations must operationalize AI across the entire software development lifecycle. This will foster greater collaboration, creativity, and modernization. What Does This Mean for Your Business? Unlocking AI’s Potential: The varied support for AI tools across regions shows that there’s a significant opportunity for companies to better leverage these technologies. At thirty3, we help midsize companies bridge this gap, ensuring they’re not just keeping up but leading the way. Empowering Innovation: AI frees up your teams to focus on what truly matters—creativity and innovation. With our expertise in generative AI, computer vision, and IoT solutions, we’re helping companies across finance, energy, and healthcare to harness the full power of AI. As the AI wave continues to transform software development, thirty3 is here to guide you through this journey, ensuring your business remains at the forefront of innovation. 👉Are you seeing similar trends in your teams? We got to know that 83% of Swiss midsized companies (>500 employees) from various industries have embraced AI, but only 34% have a clear strategy. AI is rapidly transforming industries, so we gathered information from 65 companies across various industries through surveys and interviews. In today's fast-paced market, achieving cost-efficiency, customer retention and rapid deployment is crucial. Here are some key insights from our recent survey: 1/ 83% AI Adoption: 54 out of 65 companies now use AI. 2/ Strategic Planning Gap: Only 22 companies have a formal AI strategy. 3/ Investment Levels: 15% of companies invest over 500,000 CHF annually in AI. We also noted a few recurring challenges: 1- Data Quality and Availability: This is the most cited challenge, affecting 45% of companies. What this underscores is the importance of high-quality data for effective AI implementation. 2- Technical Complexity and Skills Shortage: These challenges are reported by 30% of companies, indicating a need for skilled professionals and simplified AI solutions. However, despite these challenges, we have found AI delivering significant successes: → Efficiency Gains: 65% of companies report improved efficiency. → Cost Reduction: 40% have reduced costs with AI. → Customer Retention: 35% have seen better customer retention. These findings highlight both the opportunities and obstacles of AI adoption across industries. The good news is that the high adoption rates show enthusiasm… But strategic planning and skills gaps remain hurdles. Successes in efficiency, cost, and customer retention demonstrate AI's potential. So addressing data quality and skills shortages will be critical for sustained success. Do you face similar challenges in your organization? Let us know👇🏻 #AI #Innovation #Technology

💡𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗜 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺-𝗦𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀💡 A significant part of our work involves identifying and successfully implementing AI use cases for our customers. Close collaboration with the client's domain experts is crucial. Here’s a brief overview of our four-phase process: 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟭: 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽) We start by providing a fundamental understanding of AI's possibilities and limitations. Depending on the company's and its stakeholders' knowledge level, we conduct a workshop to educate and inspire. The goal is to familiarize participants with AI's basic concepts and potential. 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟮: 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽) Together with a selected task force of the company's domain experts, we conduct a workshop to define use cases. Many ideas emerge, which we analyze for feasibility and benefit. The brainstorming process is supported by a task-based analysis of specific jobs to determine which tasks could be automated or enhanced by AI. The expertise and intuition of the domain experts are invaluable. 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟯: 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 (𝗣𝗼𝗖) After the benefit-feasibility analysis, we prioritize the ideas, starting with the highest priority. We define it in detail to create a PoC. Generating approx. 10 ideas provides alternatives if the first idea fails in the PoC. 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟰: 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻) If the PoC is successful, we integrate the solution into the company's system landscape. 75% of PoCs are successful. Negative results are often due to insufficient or complex data sources. Thorough pre-assessment and data cleansing are crucial to increase the success rate. Phases 1-3 typically take a few days, followed by 𝟯𝟬-𝟵𝟬 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗖 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. This process shows how valuable ideas can be generated and implemented in a relatively short time. Our structured approach to identifying and implementing AI use cases enables medium-sized enterprises to develop valuable and feasible ideas quickly. #AI #Innovation #BusinessGrowth #MediumSizedEnterprises #TechConsulting #DigitalTransformation

Thank you Hilda N. Liswani for having me on the panel last night with Ana-Maria Manda and Anatoliy Polyanker at WeBloom’s Wave Fellowship Graduation event. 🤍 We discussed the state of tech careers, what will be the future of work, how to be prepared for the next tech waves and also shared my journey so far. I was extremely touched by the unexpected reactions and heartwarming comments that poured in afterwards. 🫶 The showcase from the young female tech talent was exceptional! What these women and girls put together in just 3 days was really impressive and demonstrated that women alone can also devise very cool and innovative solutions.💡 The keynote speech from Sabrina Storck was power packed and so inspiring to also see a young woman leader paving and disrupting the tech industry in Switzerland. 👏🏼 Thank you Sarah for your lovely keynote. The story about BWOB, your work with young women and not to forget the hoola hoop video was really inspiring and refreshing. 🌊 A lot to take back and think about while I lead thirty3 forward into the future. #ai #techcareer #innovation #diversity #futureoftech #leadership
