🌟 S6 Koszalin Bypass Bridge Project, Poland It’s been a few months since the successful completion of the S6 Koszalin Bypass bridge, and we're still in awe of the teamwork and excellence demonstrated by our VSL Poland team! 💪 The Koszalin Bypass bridge is part of the critical connection between Gdańsk and Szczecin. VSL played a vital role in bringing this 760-meter-long structure to life! 🔑 Key Milestones: 👉 Incremental Launching Method (ILM): We successfully launched 360 meters of the bridge using ILM equipment, navigating a challenging vertical profile of 3.95%. A total of 13 segments were launched in just six months, allowing the project to stay on schedule. 👉 Balanced Cantilever Method: Over the railway line, 390 meters of the bridge were constructed using this method, achieving a span of up to 130 meters. 👉 Post-Tensioning: VSL also handled the supply and installation of PT systems.   A special thanks to our partners - POLBUD - POMORZE Sp. z o.o.-, GDDKiA, Transprojekt Gdański, and Lafrentz Polska Sp. z o.o. - whose collaboration was essential to the success of this challenging project. 👏 Hats off to our VSL teams on site for their dedication and expertise! #Koszalin #BridgeConstruction

😍 What an exciting achievement for VSL in Hong Kong! Our team has successfully completed a special bridge erection for the future Lok Ma Chau ST01 Road, using an innovative construction solution.💡 🏗 A few weeks ago, the longest span, over 700 tons, was lifted overnight above the busy Fanling Highway. We completed this challenging task with precision, keeping safety a priority and minimizing carbon emissions. 🍃 Our teams had already completed the lifting of the 3 other spans earlier this year. 👉 A first for Hong Kong’s full-span bridge construction: VSL introduced a new DfMA approach, utilizing SPMT and Heavy Lifting technology. It was a success! 👉 Another groundbreaking achievement: the precast segmental viaduct features VSL’s Electrically Isolated Tendons, offering high-quality, long-term monitoring of tendon encapsulation and defect detection. What joy and pride! 🤩 Last week, our teams celebrated a major milestone on the HS2 project, being delivered by the Align JV! The final segment of the Colne Valley Viaduct was successfully erected and installed! 🎉 The 3.4km-long viaduct deck, with spans reaching up to 80 metres, is now complete! ➡ This remarkable structure, the longest railway bridge in the UK, stretches gracefully across the Colne Valley in north-west London. Soon, it will carry high-speed trains on the HS2 line, reaching speeds of up to 320 km/h. 🚅 👷♂️ Our VSL teams, with over 100 dedicated staff, have been hard at work on this stunning project over the past three years, overseeing the deck erection and post-tensioning. In total, 1,000 uniquely shaped segments were installed, using the 160-metre long launching girder, "Dominique". 👏 Huge congratulations to our teams for their dedication, passion, and expertise, which have made this incredible achievement possible.
