We join in 🖤#ThursdaysInBlack🖤 solidarity. As the Norwegian Bishops Conference meets in Oslo. they take a moment to mark #ThursdaysInBlack. As Bishop Ingeborg Synove Midttomme writes, "Thursdays in Black in solidarity with all affected is important for us and our responsibilities as Bishops. We live in a world with increasing numbers of violence and rape in armed conflicts and wars. We will work together to lift up the dignity of every human being." Participants in this week's training on women's human rights advocacy will put their solidarity against gender-based violence into action. Staff - gathered in the WCC offices or working from home - continually make visible our commitment to end rape and violence. 🔗Join us: https://lnkd.in/eDHBQqFz 📸: Bishops Conference/Church of Norway, Gloria Koymans/WCC
