REVIVE ACTION CAMEROON (REVACAM) REVACAM is a development and humanitarian, Non-profit, non-governmental organization, accredited by the Cameroon Government in, advancing : - The support of underprivileged (IDP's, Orphans), women, girls, children with Psycho-social and material support. -Improve on the economic conditions of underprivileged. -Sensitize communities and schools on AIDS/STI's and GBV. -Empower communities on economic development and environmenal protection through sensitization, trainings tree planting, waste management and others. REVACAM was founded in 2022 and got its official registration in 2023 with the Vision "To empowe, support and protect person's and their communities with dignity irrespective of their culture, race and social standing towards a fulfill and happy life. Mission To promote social justice, peace and sustainable development in Cameroon by empowering and supporting person's and communities to improve themselves and their communities through national and international humanitarian actors in the domain of peace building, activism, sustainable livelihood, cultural exchanges and eliminating poverty and suffering.

  • 2024 Central Africa Think Tank Forum REVACAM is thrilled to take part in this forum that bought together participants from across the globe to tackle the difficulties and challenges faced by leaders in Central Africa by navigating on possible ways to empower independent voices in the Central African region so as to transform the region. The participants of this forum included; advocacygroups, independent researchers, donors, women leaders of civil society organizations, youth leaders, policymakers, scholars, international organizations, and regional bodies.   • REVACAM through our Executive Director Mr. Che Che Daniel was privileged to be part of the Executive and Strategic Leadership Program 2024 organized by the Denis & Lenora Foretia Foundation and Nkafu Policy Institute on the theme: Deriving Organizational Success: Mastering Leadership and Management Excellence. The program brought together Think Tanks, Civil Society Leaders and Researchers selected from Central Africa, which took place from the 19th to 20th August 2024 at Djeuga Hotel in Yaounde, Cameroon. Day 01 of the program (19 August 2024), was centered on the role of leadership in organizational success under which understanding of Think Tanks and business model and keys to financial sustainability and strategic leadership for organizational growth. During the sessions, the participant could exchange their thoughts and opinions in planary. Also, emotional intelligence was discussed which focussed on the effective management practices for high impact teams and leadership challenges and solution in central Africa. These sessions were very interesting and informative. Day 02 of the program (20 August 2024) was centered on innovation in leadership and management. The different discussions were based on building effective advocacy coalition, conducting applied and policy relevant research, financial management and accountability and enhancing communication and decisions making skills. This two day program was very enriching and informative.   • #HappyWorldHumanitarianDay2024 REVACAM together with other NGOs & INGOs actively took part in the sporting activities that took place at PCSS BUEA. This marked the end of the 2 days world humanitarian day celebration organized by OCHA Buea. It was a fun and interesting day as humanitarian actors from the different NGOs and INGOs actively participated in different sporting activities to commemorate the world humanitarian day celebrated every 19th of August. The day was marked by activities such as Tug of peace, bag race, egg race and a football match. These activities were gender inclusive as both men and women took part in the activities. On the World Humanitarian Day, REVACAM pauses to recognize the tireless efforts of humanitarian workers in Cameroon & Worldwide who dedicate their lives to alleviating suffering and supporting those in need. At REVACAM, we honor their bravery and commitment, which inspire us to continue our missions. Humanitarian work embodies compassion, courage, and resilience. It’s a reminder of our shared humanity and the power of collective action to create meaningful change. As we reflect on the impact of humanitarian efforts, let’s renew our commitment to contributing positively to our communities and beyond.   • REVACAM together with other CSOs, NGOs and INGOs took part today in the campaign for World Humanitarian Day under the leadership of OCHA Buea from the 16-17 of August 2024. The world humanitarian day is celebrated every year on August 19 as a homage to our colleagues who lost their lives on August 19th 2003, in a bombing in Baghdad, Iraq. Today was day 1 of the two days celebration of the World Humanitarian Day under the theme: #ActForHumanity which took place at the Pan-African Institute in Buea. This was an avenue for National and International NGOs to showcase their vision and what they have been doing on the field as humanitarian actors. #REVACAM reaffirms its unwavering dedication to serving the most vulnerable communities in Cameroon. Aligned with the global theme "#ActForHumanity," REVACAM has consistently demonstrated its commitment to providing essential relief and support to those affected by crises. #WHD2024 #WorldHumanitarianDay2024

  • Drug abuse and Child Sexual Abuse are serious issues affecting many around the world today, most importantly the children. It's important to understand these problems to help stay safe, preventing them and make healthy choices. Focusing on their impact on children, our health and Child Protection departments undertook a sensitization campaign at the Youth Empowerment Center-Buea Town, to raise awareness on risks and consequences of drug abuse, it's impact, and strategies to prevent Child Sexual Abuse.     Today 07/08/2024, REVACAM joined other partners in a meeting to launch the NWSW PSEA working group at the UNICEF office in Buea. The meeting was focused on the operationalization of the zero tolerance policy toward Sexual Exploitation and Abuse & inaction, the survivor centered approach & victim assistance & the validation of the TOR for the PSEA working group. This sessions was interactive as various organizations present shared opinions & recommendations on the strategies on how partners should join forces in combating and eliminate this phenomenon. #StopToSexualExploitationAndAbuse #stoptochildabuse

  • Effective leadership is crucial for the success of an organization. It was thrilling for our Executive Director Che Che Daniel to have been a delegate at the 2024 Exponential Executive Master Leadership and Legacy Conference in Buea on August 3rd 2024, that brought together 100 leaders from across Cameroon. This program organised by You Square and partners was a huge success as it was a transformative experience that improved the capacity of these leaders on addressing critical aspects in leadership, career development and legacy building.
