Charting the Future of Aviation: Super Terminal Expo 2024 Takes Flight at AsiaWorld-Expo November 5 marks the grand opening of the 2024 Super Terminal Expo at AsiaWorld-Expo, welcoming over 100 exhibitors from more than 60 airports worldwide. This pivotal event showcases the latest in advanced technologies and innovative solutions, making it an essential gathering for the global aviation industry. Themed "Redefining Passenger and Cargo Handling Experience through Technological Innovation," the expo features cutting-edge technologies from various sectors including artificial intelligence, cargo transportation, and biometric solutions, poised to bring transformative changes to airport operations. As the low-altitude economy gains momentum, the Advanced Air Mobility Zone highlights state-of-the-art drones, offering a glimpse into the future of aerial transportation networks. The Airport Authority Hong Kong has unveiled the expanded blueprint for the "Airport City," aiming to transform Hong Kong International Airport into a world-leading new landmark. Scheduled for completion between 2026 and 2031, the developments include building an art industry ecosystem, advancing the Phase 2 development of AsiaWorld-Expo, and introducing new attractions to entice high-end visitors, thereby boosting tourism and propelling economic growth in the region. AsiaWorld-Expo remains a premier venue for exhibitions and conventions in the Asia-Pacific region. AWE Earns “Restaurant of the Year” at the Inaugural Sustainable Restaurant Award The dining outlets of #AsiaWorldExpo have been recognised with the prestigious “Restaurant of the Year” accolade at the Inaugural #SustainableRestaurantAward. The ceremony took place on 1st November 2024, amidst the Eco Expo Asia. This acknowledgement highlights our dedication to embedding corporate social responsibility within our business practices, aiding environmental preservation by reducing carbon emissions. Our dedication is evident in our culinary offerings at NUVA, Arena Kitchen, Spotlight Bar, and banquet services, where we procure locally sourced, organic, and hydroponically cultivated ingredients in partnership with the #VegetableMarketingOrganization. Furthermore, through collaborations with #WWF for #SustainableSeafoodWeek and our ongoing initiatives with #FoodAngel, we advocate for responsible consumption by providing #sustainable seafood and supporting the community through food donations.
