As a Guest Speaker at the 2024 International Top Talent Asset Valuation Training Program Our Managing Partner, Mr. Vincent Pang, had the honor of being invited as a guest speaker by the Beijing Appraisal Society for the 2024 International Top Talent Asset Valuation Training Program. The training, held successfully from September 21st to 27th, 2024, in Suzhou, featured Mr Pang delivering two impactful speeches.   The first lecture, titled "Cross-border Valuation – Project Management and Coordination + An Introduction to ESG Related Services," shed light on the complexities of asset valuation, emphasizing the significance of project management and coordination. Mr Pang also introduced the audience to the growing importance of ESG factors in valuation, showcasing the evolving landscape of sustainable and responsible investing. In his second lecture, "Consideration of ESG Factors in Valuation," Vincent delved deeper into the integration of ESG factors into the valuation process. He provided valuable insights on how ESG considerations can influence asset valuation, stressing the importance of incorporating sustainability and ethical practices into financial decision-making. He also had the honor of serving as a speaker and awards presenter at the Awards Presentation Ceremony held at the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong on 25 September 2024.   Under the theme "Driving Positive Change: Innovation in Sustainable Practices and Responsible Risk Management," the Awards aimed to recognize and celebrate organizations that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to sustainability, ethical business practices, and effective risk management strategies.   Co-organized by The Institute of Financial Technologists of Asia (IFTA) and supported by the ESG Data Partner, Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited (HSIL), the Awards ceremony commenced with a welcome speech by Mr. Paul Pong, Co-Founder of IESGB, and Ms. Anita Mo, Chief Executive Officer of HSIL. Mr. Pang also had the privilege of delivering a keynote address, expressing his delight at the submissions showcasing real-world impact and leadership in sustainability. He expressed gratitude for the role of the ESG Achievement Awards in advancing sustainability and innovation in Hong Kong and beyond. Welcome the cohort of summer interns from Young Talent GCE Internship Scheme 2024 AVISTA Group is honored to have been invited by Hong Kong Seeding's Culture Youth Exchange Centre (“Seeding’s Culture”) to participate in the Project Summary and Corporate Gratitude Ceremony of Young Talent GCE Internship Scheme. The ceremony was successfully held on 29 August 2024 at the Beijing Democratic Party People's Group Building. This year marks the second year of collaboration between AVISTA and Seeding's Culture. We are privileged to offer valuable internship opportunities to students from universities in Hong Kong. In the past two months, the Shanghai and Beijing offices of AVISTA Group welcomed a group of enthusiastic interns from prestigious institutions such as the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. During the one-month internship, the students not only participated in financial analysis projects like corporate valuation and M&A transaction analysis but also gained a deep understanding and practical experience in the field of corporate advisors. AVISTA Group believes that by combining education and practical experience, we can enhance the professional skills of young individuals.
