[Deal] Contributing to the expansion of #renewableenergy infrastructure in India with the Gorbea 435 MW greenfield solar photovoltaic plant in Rajasthan. 🍃 Congratulations to Spanish renewable player Zelestra for closing the financing of its Gorbea power project, with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited as the sole offtaker of the project. This marks a major milestone in the development of Zelestra’s ambitious #renewable power target in the country. This project will generate clean energy to power over 128,000 households in India annually, saving an estimated 13.3 million tonnes of carbon emissions over its lifetime. Together with Groupe Crédit Agricole International Desk, we are pleased to have supported Zelestra in securing an INR-denominated project financing of €132 million equivalent. As the sole Coordinating Bank for Due Diligence and Documentation, Letter of Credit and Hedging Bank, we are proud to have played a leading role in this project, demonstrating our ability to deliver a full spectrum of bespoke sustainable #projectfinance solutions across multiple products and geographies. The Republic of Indonesia (ROI) has successfully priced a multi-tranche SEC-registered bond offering, totaling approximately USD 2.6 billion. The offering comprised a USD 1.15 billion 10-year bond, a USD 650 million 30-year bond, and a EUR 750 million 8-year sustainable bond. The EUR 750 million tranche marks a significant milestone as the second-ever Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) bond issued by an Asian sovereign, following ROI’s last issuance in 2021 which was the very first. With 3.5 times oversubscription, the EUR tranche exceeded the Ministry of Finance's targets, setting a strong benchmark for other issuers in the region. This new milestone underscores investor confidence in Indonesia's robust economic growth, its commitment to advancing #SDG goals and its role as a frontrunner in #innovativefinancing. As a long-standing partner and having also been Joint SDG Structuring Advisor in 2021, we once again supported this transaction as Joint Lead Manager and Joint Bookrunner. [#Deal] 🚄 Thrilled to announce our role in supporting the evolution of the regional passenger rail market in France with two landmark transactions alongside the Regions of Région Hauts-de-France, La Région Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée, and Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine. These transactions are in line with Groupe Crédit Agricole commitment to sustainable development and support for the local economy, and benefitted from our Bank’s the strong and longstanding expertise in the rail sector across Europe. We have successfully arranged two major green financings for two local French local public mobility companies: SPL Gestion des Actifs et Appui à la Mobilité in the Region Hauts-de-France (SPL GAAM) and Société Publique Interrégionale des Investissements en faveur des Transports in the two Regions Occitanie and Nouvelle-Aquitaine (SPL SPIIT), totalling €2.6 billion. Acting as Arranger, Hedging Bank and Coordinator, #ESG Coordinator and Agent, our Bank is supporting the Regions to meet the challenges of opening up the regional rail passenger market to competition, #sustainable mobility and #energytransition. [#PinkOctober] – United in solidarity   This Pink October, we are mobilising ourselves to fight against breast cancer by raising awareness. Because this fight concerns us all, we have the responsibility and the power to act together. 💪 Why is it important? 1 out of 8 women is at risk of developing breast cancer during her lifetime. Research, early detection are essential levers for reducing this risk. Together, we can make a real impact. 🌸   Our actions during Pink October: ✨ Raising awareness  and prevention: Throughout the month, we are setting up conference in France with the Fondation Cognacq-Jay and one in Hong Kong with the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation on the theme of screening and our set-ups to support employees returning to work, and workshops and information campaigns to encourage early screening and talk openly about this disease. Every employee has a role to play in raising awareness among his relatives.   💌  Acting together: Thanks to the Payroll donation scheme, our employees in France can support medical research and the fight against breast cancer by making a monthly donation to the Institut Curie. 💡How can tokenisation enhance cross-border payments? We are excited to announce our participation in the Agorá Project which is exploring the potential of tokenization for wholesale cross-border payments. Launched by the Bank for International Settlements – BIS with 7 #centralbanks and the Institute of International Finance (IIF), the project will now proceed to the next phase with more than 40 private sector financial firms. 🎯 This major public-private partnership seeks to overcome several structural inefficiencies in how payments happen today, especially across borders, which add a layer of challenges: different legal, regulatory and technical requirements, operating hours and time zones. It is a great way to contribute to the evolution of global financial infrastructures and keep offering more efficient and transparent payment solutions to our clients. [EVENT] On September 24th, we had the pleasure of hosting the #Hydrogen Connect Lunch in partnership with the Hydrogen Council on the occasion of #ClimateWeekNYC. The gathering brought together experts to discuss investments and financing strategies innovations aimed at scaling low-carbon fuel production. [EVENT] It’s a wrap ! On Tuesday we hosted our 9th Annual Auto Credit Day in Paris. Probably our best Auto Credit Conference so far: ideal timing for Autos issuers and investors from all over Europe and the US to meet and share views on the Automotive sector in a fast changing environment. A broader spectrum of 17 #AutomotiveIndustry issuers this year with car makers, truck makers and suppliers participating and over 261 meetings organised through the day. It further highlighted that the credit business is a key strength for our Bank. 🙏 Thank you to all who participated and contributed to making this conference a resounding success. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
