Recently, CICC was awarded the "Outstanding Award for Green and Sustainable Bond Lead Manager (Local Government Financing Project) - Pioneering in Green, Social and Sustainable Bond Framework” by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA). This prestigious award recognizes our efforts and validates our commitment on sustainability. During the first three quarters of 2024, CICC showcased its financial strength by completing more than 60 ESG overseas bond issuances, with a total financing scale exceeding 19 billion USD. The successful management of two local government offshore Green and Sustainable RMB bond issuances by the Shenzhen Municipal Government and the Hainan Provincial Government further solidifies green and sustainable development finance leadership, strong presence in the offshore bond market, and competitive advantages. On September 11, the Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited (#HKMC), as the Sponsor, Collateral Manager and Retention Holder, successfully completed the issuance of US$423.3mm Reg S infrastructure loan-backed securities (#ILBS). This successful transaction, with CICC acting as a joint bookrunner, is a testament to the trusted collaboration between the two entities. As HKMC's second issuance of ILBS, this deal further supports the development of Hong Kong as an infrastructure financing hub, facilitating the inflow of market capital to high‑quality infrastructure projects, and expanding the securitisation market in Asia. As the only Chinese institution among the Joint Bookrunners on the deal, CICC played a crucial role. Leveraging their in-depth insights into ILBS and extensive investor networks, CICC conducted widespread investor education, facilitated the investor dialogues with HKMC and successfully brought in high-quality Chinese investors with varying credit appetites. This significantly contributed to a widened investor base and enhanced visibility of ILBS as an emerging asset class among Chinese investors. This transaction marks CICC's second collaboration with HKMC since the HK$12bn bond issuance this February, deepening CICC's partnership with a Hong Kong government-linked entity in the fixed income primary markets space and further demonstrating CICC's dedication to supporting key initiatives and the development of capital markets in the Greater Bay area.

On September 17, Midea Group Co., Ltd. ("Midea Group", stock codes: 000333.SZ, 0300.HK) successfully listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange ("the IPO"). The offering size was approximately USD4.0 billion (pre-greenshoe) / USD4.6 billion (post-greenshoe). CICC acted as Lead Sponsor-Overall Coordinator, Lead Global Coordinator, LeadBookrunner, and Sole Stabilizing Manager and Sole Settlement Agent. The IPO is the second-largest IPO globally since 2024 and the largest Hong Kong IPO to date by an A-share listed company in the non-financial service sector, marks a significant milestone in the capital market landscape. The IPO is also the first Hong Kong IPO completed by an A-share listed company under the CSRC filing regime for overseas listings.
