Stephen is the philanthropic ambassador of Hefeng Family Office, and this is his first attempt of TOR130, a gruelling 130km race at the TOR trail running event taking place in Italy, with total positive elevation 12,000m+.   The beneficiary organisation is the “Hong Kong Red Cross” and the charity run is to raise much needed funds to support the humanitarian works of the “Hong Kong Red Cross” to help the under-privileged during emergencies such as flooding, landslides and other natural disasters. In line with the "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Promoting the Development and Growth of the Private Economy", the China Investment Society took the lead in organizing the establishment and research of two projects: "Research on Development Policies of Chinese Family Offices" and "Research on Basic Standards of Chinese Family Office Business", aiming to promote the standardized development of the family office industry, improve the service quality and credibility of the industry, promote self-discipline management of the industry, and provide reference for related authorities to formulate relevant policies and systems. On February 28, 2024, the "China Family Office Standards Development Forum (Greater Bay Area)" hosted by the China Investment Society and jointly organized by Denton Family Office Business Center and Hefeng Family Office was successfully held in Guangzhou. Special invited guests gathered around to share their views and comments and give their opinions on topics such as the background and significance of the development of the family office industry, and the construction of the family office ecosystem. More than 45 ecological institutions and nearly 100 practitioners from mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore and other places attended the seminar on-site; and nearly 3,000 people participated in this seminar online. Special thanks to the special invited guest speaker from Hong Kong - Dr. Rocky Tung from the HKSAR Financial Services Development Council and Ms. Ellen Yip, Director of Philanthropy from UBS.
