We are thrilled to introduce the Skinflex Club, a new specialised sports programme designed for children with skin conditions, especially eczema! As a kickstart of the programme, we were privileged to have Dr. YL Fung, a member of our Skinflex Club advisory group and lecturer at the University of Hong Kong's Department of Social Work and Social Administration, in leading a parent-child talk focusing on how children with skin conditions, especially eczema, can also engage in sports through different ways. We were also honoured to have Mr. Harrison Li 李健彰, MPH, the co-founder of WeDerm, one of our supporting partners of this programme, sharing his insights as a fellow advocate who has suffered from skin conditions himself. Following the talk, many parents showed keen interest in enrolling their children in the Skinflex Club programme which consists of various sports sessions and activities designed for children with skin conditions! 🌟 We want to take the opportunity to express our gratitude to the HKEX Foundation 香港交易所慈善基金 for funding this programme! #IHKSports #SportsCharity #HKEXFoundation #SkinflexClub #Eczema

For two consecutive years, our charity had the privilege to raise a question to the esteemed guest speakers at The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Philanthropy For Better Cities Forum’s closing panel and obtained valuable insights from the renowned speakers on how we can better empower our youth and children through sports, this year, tapping even into the very timely topic of mental wellness. 🎯 IHKSports First Year “Report Card” with JC Fit City 🎯 September not only marks the start of a new school year for students in Hong Kong, but it also kicks off another exciting season of sports classes and experiences presented to you by JC Fit City! Join us this Sunday for our Sports Opening Carnival at Tsuen Wan Citywalk and celebrate the beginning of a fun-filled year! Over the past year, under the JC Fit City programme, we have hosted nearly 100 free sports classes for adults, featuring over 35 sports across 17 districts, engaging over 1800 participants. We have also organised two sports contests for secondary school students, featuring fun and exciting sports including dodgebee and fencing.
