OneConnect Financial Technology Co., Ltd. Announces Appointment of General Manager   OneConnect Financial Technology Co., Ltd. (the “Company” or “OneConnect”) today announces that the board of directors of the Company has appointed Mr. Xiao Tang (“Mr. Tang”) as the general manager of the Company, effective from October 10, 2024.   Mr. Tang has over 20 years experience in banking services. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Tang served as an executive director and the president of BOC Financial Technology Co., Ltd. from December 2020 to September 2024. Before that, Mr. Tang served as the general manager of customer service department of Wuhan business group and a vice president of the Suzhou subsidiary of CCB Fintech Co., Ltd. from April 2018 to November 2020. From July 2001 to April 2018, Mr. Tang served in different positions of China Construction Bank, including deputy department head of the testing and promotion department of Wuhan data center, and head of the innovation department. Mr. Tang received his bachelor’s degree in electronic information from Wuhan University of Technology in 2001 and his MBA from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2006.   Mr. Chongfeng Shen, the Company’s chief executive officer and chairman of the board would like to welcome Mr. Tang to join the Company as the general manager, and believes his extensive experience and expertise will further promote the development of the Company and bring OneConnect to its next chapter of growth.

PingAn OneConnect Hong Kong (HKOC) was honoured to participate in the 19th Technology Forum held by the Digital Policy Office (DPO) at the Hong Kong Science Park on July 30th. The forum featured over 40 Hong Kong government departments, more than 200 government officials and 12 leading technology companies. Mr. Daniel SO represented as OneConnect HongKong’s Project Director, shared his on-the-ground IT experiences in achieving the high availability of public services in collaboration with PingAn Group, by highlighting the development robust technology solutions（信創）that can support the reliability requirements of critical public service systems. The sharing contents included information security and data platform construction, an individual booth was also set up to introduce products and solutions to the attendees. The participation in this forum underscores HKOC's commitment to supporting the development of digital public services in Hong Kong. OneConnect Financial Technology welcomes Central America Stock Exchanges & Huawei to PingAn Financial Center. OneConnect is honoured to play host to the delegates, comprised of top executives from banks and stock exchanges in Central America, at PAFC. The visiting representatives visited the Ping An Group Technology Experience Center, which brings together the development history and latest technological achievements of Ping An Group. During the visit, the representatives experienced a number of advanced technologies such as - Micro-expression Face Recognition. - Intelligent Customer Service - Next gen core banking systems Matthew Chen then presented an overview of the business development and technology development of Ping An Group and OneConnect to the delegates, and shared some of the company's successful cases within and beyond China's borders.  OneConnect had implemented account identification and anti-money laundering risk solutions to a number of banks & financial institutions within Asean. Through biometrics and big data analysis, these technologies help financial institutions efficiently and accurately identify customers, effectively prevent money laundering risks, and improve compliance management levels. Matthew Chen also covered in detail the various intelligent solutions provided by OneConnect, such as artificial intelligence, core systems, lending, risk management, data exchange and insurance technology. These solutions cover all aspects of financial business and help financial institutions achieve comprehensive digital transformation and innovative development. This visit provided a great opportunity for OneConnect to interact and exchange insights with the delegates and we are looking forward to establish collaboration with global financial institutions, such as Central America, and explore new opportunities in digital transformation.
