✨ bit.ly/PoM_Sept_2024 ✨ Check out our September poster! Lots of non-pgm this month... Subscribe to receive straight into your inbox: https://lnkd.in/e8frkYKZ Two interesting papers on non-pgm catalyzed hydrogenations; Weiwei Zuo and team report an asymmetric cobalt-catalyzed hydrogenation and Rhett Kempe's group discusses their work on an iron-based hydrogenation catalyst. Continuing the non-pgm theme: Daniel Weix and team describe a decarbonylative nickel-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction; Shannon Stahl, together with the afore-mentioned author, report on a selective nickel-catalyzed cross-electrophile coupling; Michael Neidig and his group have studied the promising iron/Xantphos catalyzed alkyl-alkyl cross-coupling reaction in more detail; Stephen Buchwald and his group report a copper-catalyzed amination of aryl chlorides under mild conditions. The final non-pgm based paper is from Ming Joo (MJ) Koh, Xinglong Zhang and team, who describe an iron-catalyzed selective Z-alkene synthesis. Derek M. Dalton and team describe their work on a robust palladium-catalyzed C-S bond formation reaction; a large-scale Suzuki-Miyaura reaction was developed by Rogelio Frutos and team. Last, but not least; a report on a novel ligand for palladium catalysis from the labs of Prof Stephen Buchwald and Matt Sigman, with Kaibo Feng as the lead. Enjoy!
