Recently, three studies on SINOVAC BIOTECH LTD.'s Quadrivalent Influenza Vaccine (QIV) were published in the journals Vaccine and Vaccines. These papers demonstrate that the manufacturing process of the vaccine is both stable and reliable, confirm that its safety profile is comparable to that of an already licensed QIV, and reveal that the concomitant administration of QIV and PPSV23 in adults aged 60 and older results in non-inferior immunogenicity without increasing safety risks compared to separate administration.
