Zhao Youyin has been with TCL since it first entered the Vietnamese market in 1999. She has seen TCL grow from a humble factory in Dong Nai to one of the top three home appliance companies in the country. As a senior translator at TCL's Vietnam base, she sat down with Khoi Vo Quoc, Business Director at TCL Industries Vietnam, to share their experiences over the years. When he began his career at TCL as a salesperson, Khoi Vo Quoc had to present product samples to customers door-to-door on his motorcycle. Although it was hard work, it was a time he remembered fondly. When TCL introduced its first trade-in program in Vietnam in 2011, dealers were hesitant about such an unprecedented program in the market. To build their trust, Vo Quoc Khoi and his team carried out a convincing marketing campaign, resulting in the sale of 1,000 units. Though modest compared to TCL's sales figures today, it was a major success at the time for such pioneering business decisions in the region. The rest was history. With TCL’s gold standard for quality and service, and countless contributions of its dedicated team, TCL quickly grew into a leading technology provider in Vietnam, with its color TV market share in the region exceeding 16%. #TCL #WhereTheDreamBegins #MeetTheTeam #TCLers
