Professor Shoseyov, #CollPlant’s Chief Scientist, wins the science prize. Oded Shoseyov, a leading Protein Engineering and Nano-Biotechnology Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environment at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, is renowned for his research that has far-reaching implications. His understanding that nature can reveal bio-materials and functional structures with unique properties and produce them in biotechnological processes has led to the development of sustainable industries in diverse fields such as food, agriculture, medicine, construction, transportation, electronics, space, and aviation. Prof. Shoseyov has successfully harnessed the superior properties of natural molecules for groundbreaking biotechnological uses. His lab, a melting pot of various disciplines such as molecular biology, protein engineering, and nanotechnology, has matured into hundreds of scientific articles and over a hundred patents. These achievements have translated into establishing 20 biotechnology companies that implement the research developed in his lab at Hebrew University, one of them being #Collplant. Shoseyov's science and research are also expressed in public activity in Israel and the world.

This is an essential move before we bring in new recycling bins to our workspace.   Why conduct a waste survey? Our objective was to evaluate the exact amount and types of waste we produce daily.
