Penta Real Estate was formed by separating the real estate division from the company Penta Investments, whose origins date back to 1994. Penta Group entered the real estate sector in 2005 and since this time is has become a leader on the real estate market in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland alike. Our goal is to construct buildings that contrubite to the urban developement of the location given. This is why we cooperate with the best professionals in the field, top architecs and engineers. Our experience combined with their creativity and focus are the guarantee of the highest qiality and investment value of our real estate portfolio. Currently, its portfolio includes more than 30 projects in the commercial, residential and retail sectors. The Company’s philosophy is Courage to Create, with its main focus being a strict emphasis on quality. Whether it will be the process of actual property development,choice of suppliers and partners, or the selection of fututre employees, Penta Real Estate aims to be the best. This is evidenced by projects such as Sky Park in Bratislava and the Masaryk Railway Station in Prague, which were developed in collaboration with the wold-famous architect Zaha Hadid. Our employees thus have the opportunity to collaborate on such projects and be involved in their creation directly with the founders of Penta who are actively managing the Company. At the same time, good decisions and outcomes guarantee employees a unique opportunity for career development.     The Bory district will get its first square ⛲ Plans for a new square in Bory and the expansion of the Bory Mall shopping and entertainment center have officially been approved with a valid Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) decision. As a result, the current outdoor parking lot near Nemocnica bory will be replaced by a new high-quality public space. The concept of the square is centered around four main interconnected zones, each offering distinct leisure activities. The facade and the entrance to the shopping and entertainment center will be enlivened with food outlets, seamlessly connected to the square’s central area. This part of the square will host cultural events, community gatherings and also feature market stalls. The square with a fountain will be surrounded by a lush green park with diverse landscaping and tranquil seating areas equipped with benches for relaxation 🍃🌳 The expansion of the Bory Mall shopping and entertainment center will introduce approximately 2,000 square meters of leasable space for retail and services, along with 400 square meters intended for food outlets. To accommodate the natural growth in visitor numbers and the resulting need for additional parking, a new outdoor parking lot will be built behind Bory Mall. The parking spaces currently occupying the site of the future square will be relocated to a newly built parking garage 🅿️ bit.ly/bory-namestie

    Penta Real Estate´s Business Director, Pavel Streblov, was part of the Nádraží conference (Train Station conference), which took place in the Fantova Building of the Main Train Station. His presentation on the modernisation of Masaryk Station brought many inspiring ideas. He showcased the success of transforming the brownfield around Masaryk Station, creating new services (bookstore, pharmacy, restaurants, cafes) and respecting the original architecture in revitalising the station building. The future elevated roofing platform of the station full of greenery and the transformation of the old post office on Hybernská Street into premium offices were also discussed, which will give the whole area a new look. The forthcoming transformation of the Florenc area, where four international architectural competitions called Florenc21 were announced at the end of the year, or the question of the future of the Main Train Station were not neglected.     An international jury has decided the advancing teams for the FLORENC21 architectural competition ✨ A competition jury with a majority of independent members, headed by well respected German architect Stefan Behnisch Hon FAIA, has selected the advancing teams of four concurrent architectural competitions concerning new city blocks in Prague's Florence district. Participating in the transformation of the last large brownfield in the centre of Prague attracted many accomplished architects. A total of 157 teams from 33 different European, American and Asian countries submitted designs in the competitions. Twenty-five teams advanced to the second round, based on conceptual ideas, reference buildings and experience with similar projects. The teams will take part in two competitive workshops in spring 2025, with the aim of developing their initial concepts into more detailed proposals. From these, the jury will select four to be presented to the public in the fall of 2025.

    Expert assessment of greenery at Southbank 🌿 The Southbank project treats the surrounding nature with respect and professional care. Although it does not directly interfere with the protected areas, preserving greenery and integrating it with the urban environment is a key aspect of the project. For this reason, experts were consulted in advance to evaluate the relationship between the urbanized and natural parts of the area and to recommend measures for preserving valuable greenery. A comprehensive arboricultural assessment was conducted on site to identify healthy and valuable trees, species in need of professional care, as well as invasive species that pose a threat to biodiversity. Among the most significant trees in the area is an over 200-year-old oak near the Apollo Bridge, which has received special care to ensure it remains a valuable part of the local ecosystem. Experts also identified the presence of invasive species such as tree of heaven and the boxelder maple. These fast-spreading species displace native trees, thereby undermining local biodiversity and ecological stability. Their management is therefore crucial for preserving the natural ecosystem and ensuring healthy growth of greenery in the area.     Blue Infrastructure in the Southbank Project 💧 The project's blue infrastructure will include both natural and synthetic elements designed to efficiently collect and manage rainwater, while creating pleasant and attractive spaces for residents. Key components of this infrastructure include permeable surfaces and rainwater collection and drainage systems. These features will help to retain and reuse water within the area, ensuring the sustainability of the green spaces. Excess rainwater will be naturally absorbed directly into the soil to the greatest extent possible, so that it stays in the area and does not have to be drained into the sewage system. These solutions also increase the share of green spaces, helping to mitigate urban heat islands. They contribute to a healthier microclimate in built-up areas, support urban biodiversity, and play an important role in protecting water resources and reducing flood risks 🌧️ - https://lnkd.in/eStTdRdX

    The FLORENC21 continues 🧑💼 The first four parallel architectural competitions were announced in the autumn of 2024 concerning the western part of Florenc, and we will soon know the candidates advancing to the next round. Following the urban planners who laid out the public spaces of Florenc, it is now the architects’ turn to give shape to individual buildings and city blocks.
