News from the business mission to Switzerland and our CEO Petra Kinzlova who is one of the attendees 👉 Our mission continues today in Basel, biotech capital of Switzerland! 🇨🇭 We were touring the Biozentrum, University of Basel, a center known for groundbreaking research in molecular biology and biotechnology. And we also had an exclusive visit to pharmaceutical giant Roche, which offered us insights into cutting-edge research in biotech and pharmaceuticals. The upcoming agenda includes a roundtable discussion on funding opportunities for biotech and life sciences, a key area of growth for both Switzerland and the Czech Republic. And why is Switzerland important to us❓🤔 Switzerland represents an extraordinary opportunity for Prague.bio to connect with one of the most innovative biotech ecosystems in the world. This mission is not just about strengthening commercial ties; it's about fostering collaborations that can drive scientific progress and bolster the international competitiveness of Czech biotech. By connecting with top Swiss institutions and industry leaders, we’re opening doors for new ideas, partnerships, and growth. Foto: Petra Kinzlová, Kapaji

Why should young scientists consider creating startups and monetizing their work❓🤔 Jiri Moos from i&i Prague, one of our members, highlights two key motivations. 1️⃣ The first is humanitarian — science should benefit people and society, and its results can inspire further research. 2️⃣ The second is experiential. Working in a startup offers invaluable knowledge that continuously propels individuals forward. In countries like Germany and Austria, such experience makes these individuals highly sought-after in the job market.
