The EU Digital Wallets will soon become a reality for the Europeans: The wallets should be available from 2026 to any EU citizen, resident, or business in the EU. 🇪🇺 The European Commission has recently requested ENISA (The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity) to provide support for the certification of European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallets. The certificate will allow EU citizens to use their national digital wallets across the entire EU. The certification will ensure that EUDI wallets are secure and protect the privacy of users and their personal data.
