The 93rd General Assembly of AGBU AGBU marked a historic leadership transition in NYC. After nearly 50 years of dedicated service, including 22 as President, Berge Setrakian passed the torch to Sam Simonian, visionary founder of TUMO tech centers. Under Setrakian’s guidance, AGBU expanded globally, including the founding of AGBU Germany in 2020. We honor his legacy and look forward to Simonian’s forward-thinking leadership as we embrace the future of innovation and empowerment for the Armenian people worldwide. #AGBU #BergeSetrakian #SamSimonian #NewYork #NYC #MandarinOrientalNewYork #InUnityIsStrength

One of the keys to TUMO’s success is having strong, reliable partners. First up, a big thank you to our longtime friend, AGBU! What started with their support for not one but two TUMO Centers has grown into a nearly decade-long partnership that’s played a vital role in our expansion across Armenia. Thanks to them, we've been able to open more and more TUMOs, giving thousands of teens the space to think big and create even bigger. Our TUMO Armenia campaign wouldn’t be what it is today without their incredible backing. To celebrate this special partnership, we’re taking a trip down memory lane—back to where it all began—from the first phase of TUMO Gyumri at the Gyumri Technology Center and our Center in Stepanakert, all the way to TUMO Armenia. Let’s keep the momentum going! Donate now to the TUMO Armenia campaign at armenia.tumo.org

After years of meticulous renovation and restoration, the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin reopened its doors to embrace its faithful. On Sunday, September 29, His Holiness Karekin II celebrated the Divine Liturgy, marking its re-consecration and celebrating the Feast of the Holy Cross of Varak. Holy Etchmiadzin, the first Christian cathedral built in the world, is the spiritual heart of Armenians and has stood as a beacon of resilience, unity, and devotion since its founding in 303 AD. The Mother Cathedral was fully restored thanks to the generosity of the following benefactors, all of whom were bestowed the newly established highest honor of the Armenian Church, the “Holy Etchmiadzin” and “Daughter of Holy Etchmiadzin” medals: . Mr. & Mrs. Vatche and Tamar Manoukian . Mr. & Mrs. Samvel and Eteri Karapetyan . Mr. & Mrs. Berge & Vera Setrakian . Drs. Eric and Melina Esrailian . Mrs. Elza Didizian . Dr. & Mrs. Noubar Afeyan . Mr. & Mrs. Nver and Yelena Mkhitaryan . Mrs. Anahid Yacoubian . Mr. & Mrs. Hratch and Suzanne Toufayan 📷: @holyetchmiadzin
